Hello Comrade Airman or soon to be Airman,

On behalf of my fellow Beta  Testers I would like to post this for your knowledge and to make the experience more pleasurable.


1) When you get you invitation you will be excited and overly happy but please refrain from making posts of I JUST GOT ACCEPTED YEAAAA ! ( i was guilty of this too ) but even though you may be excited others don't feel good especially if they waited long time.

2) When you  Get accepted you will have a myriad of topics and suggestions but please read the older Beta posts so you dont repeat old topics, and try to fly at least 25 games before you talk about it on forums.

3) Don't post anything about the game on General (Or anywhere else on internet it will be found) , post it on Beta and me or others will help you out , you wouldn't want a NDA breach and ban.

4) Don't get too discouraged if you still didnt make it , people waited for weeks and months be patient and there are Beta Keys for events , I believe there is one now .

5) Be curteous and respectful to all players.

(Other Beta testers feel free to add more if I forgot anything)

5.5) So be calm don't do anything rash and think about what you are about to post  and enjoy the game !

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WHAT ALL THE KEYS DO , trust me , do it

Read up about the game. I'm tired of seeing people who signed up to test something know so little about this.
Lets see if I can save some time for some of you.
This is all is public knowledge or should be common sense.
1. There will no cockpit view.
2. British and Japanese planes will be added.
3. There will be not played controlled bombers, only Bot controlled. (if they are added at all) (ie. B-25, Lancaster, B-17 etc.)
4. There will be no take offs or landing.
5. This is aiming to be a simcade, not a hard core flight sim. Comparisons to Il-2 are pointless.
6. Look over the controls.
7. This is World of Warplanes. Planes, there will be no Helicopters.

if we had to take off in world of warplanes, why don't we go through engin e start-ups in world of tanks? ^^. most of those engines had to be hand-cranked to start in world of tanks, bu t that would just be stupid.

They also said they won`t be adding Tier X mediums and TDs. Many times.MANY. Yet added them

hopefully sometime in the future you can choose to be a gunner in the bombers.
But that probably wont happen :?

How can you do such a thing with 1M apps or so?

Make the applications have questions about flight and programming that only people that know what they're talking about know. And even then, others who want to 'play' would just google it. Therein lies the fault of online surveys. Anything that you don't know can be googled.
Examples:
How did the Russians acquire a jet engine?
What is a foreach loop? (that one was programming)
How many wings did the CR-42 Falco feature?
What is object-oriented programming?
etc.
