We have a complete and running J-35-c engine at my A-P school..one of my all time favs besides the eagle...good film..thanks for posting..

Yeah thanks for posting that.
I didn't know about the AU F-86's equiped w/ Avvons.
I watched a a F-86 come in on 2 gears @ the heart of Dixe airshow
couple years ago @ Maxwell AFB. My Grandfather was a crew cheif on f-86's @ K-55 Osan in Korea.
I have a LIFE time of memories & stories he passed on. Acording to him, they had a real
problem with the actuators on the gears on the F-86's when they 1st got them in theater.
This would cause one or both rear gears to go out. which is what happend to the one @ Maxwell AFB.
I've actually got some good photo's of that somewhere.
