I dont want this to come off really stupid i just want to hear yuor thoughts on adding helicopters.

Hmm this is quite an original idea. I like the idea of having helicopters, except for the fact that it would cause tech trees to become highly irregular.
Not a bad idea though.

didn't know there were helos around in WWI or WWII

there were most definitely some helis in WW2, although they weren't very effective...

With ground attack planes available, why NOT helicopters?  Perhaps a separate tech tree per country like the light tanks in World of Tanks.

Very interesting and original idea, but I can't see it happening. The mobility+weaponry of helicopters from the era of the game (WWI-Korean War) wouldn't stand a chance against planes. It does make you wonder what other things WG could add, though.

WWII eara helicopters were not used for  combat or any sort of warfare, because of their massive unreliability, and only really used in korea as a transport role. So not too sure how they would be of any use in the game that goes from pre-WWII to pre-Korea...

I think if there were a World Of Helios, that it should be Vietnam - Modern Helicopters.

its definetly an idea, i mean, WoT has artillery in it, and artillery was never really used against tanks, since splash damage is shrapnel, and oes no real harm against a heavily armoured beast. i think it would be an interesting Gift idea though...
