Keyboard Support

MasterofMetal's Photo MasterofMetal 29 Jun 2012

Hello aviators,
I just wanted to know if there would be any keyboard support - rather than a joystick - for this game.
W = Down
S = Up
A = Left
D = Right
R = Throttle down
F = Throttle up
Left Mouse Click = Fire
Right Mouse Click = Fire Secondary (rockets, bombs etc [if there would be any])
Middle Mouse Scroll = Zoom Levels
Specific movement key combinations = Evasive Maneuvers

But this is if they did put it in in the first place.  Is this a good keyboard layout?  Would you like keyboard support in the first place?

No yawing? I'm very sure all games of this genre have yawing.

And evasive maneuvers button, I wouldn't like it if it was there as it could mean easy mode. However, I highly doubt they'll put this in the first place, as I haven't seen any evasive maneuvers in the legal WoWP gameplay vid on YouTube and the interview from e3.

That's what I said. >.> I think WoWP should have a "cut engine" button to do some epic tactics with it. However, I dunno if it's already implemented, so yea.

Cut engine? why not just idle throttle?

Because in some cases, I'm too lazy to actually hold the throttle down button for so long as the enemy can just predict and follow my speed. A sudden engine shutdown is really hard to get adjusted to.

Then we would need a keyboard full of engine restart sequences if we wanted to continue the manoeuvre :Smile_trollface:

yaw has nothing to do with cutting engine. its the movement ur rudder makes with plane. u know, on the vertical stabilizer.

I know, but I was on a new topic when I said that WoWP should have a cut engine button. I was already telling him that I've talked about yawing in my previous post.
