What food do you think tastes better on the second day as leftovers?

Me,I think lasagna taste better the second day.

also beef stew {replace beef with venison} or keep it beef, tastes better 2 days after it is cooked.

A properly made "ukha" (fish soup, I prefer with red and white fish) on the second day takes on a more powerful and rich / concentrated taste of fish. I can not say that the taste is better, it just becomes different.

However, this applies to everything that can be soaked.
For example, a rum-soaked biscuit cake is always better on the second day of production, because rum is drunk into a biscuit and makes it even more tender.
Especially the factory-made cake.

Slow-cooked beef crock pot chile, well spiced, with molasses and a Guinness added, heavy on the meat.

With four fried eggs, pea-meal bacon, cracked wheat toast and coffee for breakfast next morning.

I like a chile solid enough that I can stick a fork into it then come back 5 minutes later and the fork hasn't moved.

Anything else is soup.

:great:

Dutch is very similar to afrikaans.
But this one i remembered from my trip to s-africa

OT: anything that has tomato sauce as base, tastes better the day after.
