Such a shame. I was going for the "kill 10 bombers" part of this mission in concert with a different, but slightly related token mission.

 

I took out my 110B in order to complete the period 1 part of the missions*.

 

Wouldn't you know it... after killing the human bomber player 2X, they quit the game. I was hanging out by the respawn point waiting for them to return, and they never showed up to bomb. Turns out, they quit after I only killed them 2X.

 

I only needed 3 to complete the mission. I am seriously disappointed.

 

*Note: I could not find the bot bomber, don't know why, but they never showed up on my radar. 

 

Note #2: I do play bombers, but I do not quit games.

There's no tier 3 or tier 4 bomber that can shake or match a full healthy tier 4 110B heavy.

I would consider spawn camping that player, especially if you're in a higher tier plane than the bomber, ......In Poor Taste

Especially if there is a high value target to defend.  The bombers will come to you, possibly even pre-tenderized.

Alright all you armchair "spawn camping" referees. I only spawn camped after the second kill 'cause I only needed one more to finish that section of the mission. And they never respawned. So go take your high and mighty judgement and stick it where the sun don't shine. 

 

And puleeeeze, with some of the requirements in the missions over the years, the only way you could do it was by spawn camping. Like "Kill 6 multirole fighters in one battle" anyone?

 

I swear, if I am ever up against one of you junior paw patrol wanabees, I will be sure to spawn camp your sorry pantaloons.

Bombers can be just targets. I was in one for a top 2 in ground target mission. Human in a heavy B-110E on red team. Watched him cross the map coming for me in mini map. Got my top 2 mission still then since we had an airbase, I switched to the P-38F and shot him down twice. Downtier bombers especially suck. Bombers that are targeted suck, even heavy ADA come after you. I'll take a GA anytime over a bomber. If your mission is to kill bombers, you got to do what you got to do. It's a game don't get so riled up. Take the hit. Move on. Don't make a habit of spawn camping, it's a bad look. Just my thoughts.

Guess you missed the point we were trying to share with you, so allow me to simply explain our view on the matter of " spawn camping " 

 

Most players like yourself come on to play the game, enjoy it with friends, and try to have a good time doing it.

By camping a player or players, you directly take that enjoyment of the game away from them, plus you might have caused that player to log off and play another online game that night.

We as a group should encourage " new & seasoned " players  to come on World of Warplanes more often & game with us online and have some good fun doing it. 

The game is only as good as it's players, and base camping a player, regardless of your needs or requirements to a mission or event, ...is in bad taste. 

 

​Ps. Next time you're waiting in a que for over 2 min's & finally when it does start with... " only Bots on the other side " you might want to think about that player " who you made quit the game".

Cull the herd I say. Make the weak ones quit=good riddance.

All of what you all say has happened to me when I first started but I didnt quit.

 

 

Less potatoes = more fun games.

 

spawn camping is a way to complete missions but its not condusive for a victory. ABC is the secret sauce.

So camp away and you will probably lose the game.

OK, since none of you were in the battle, here is how it went down:

 

1) We were up 4 caps to 1 and late in the game.

2) I shot down the human bomber 2x by defending my caps. They kept trying to get my missile base and I defended it.

3) Only after the second shoot down (over a cap) did I decide "Gosh darn, I just need one more bomber kill to finish this mini-mission". And the cap I was defending was right next to the red spawn point.

4) The bomber pilot quit before I could spawn camp them.

5) WG makes some "missions" conducive to spawn camping. Many other posts in this here forum describe spawn camping in order to achieve stoopid "missions".

 

I am totally focused on ABC, unless I get distracted, bored, or someone wants to dogfight me more than win the battle.

 

So, they quit after I legitimately downed them 2X over caps. I just wanted them to respawn so I could get my 3rd kill and move on to another mini-mission. 

 

I should not have to had to type this out as those of you who know me know that I play fair and (usually) play to win  for tokens. The fact that the bomber pilot chose to leave after legit kills by me is the point.

If you wait for him to shoot down right after he respawn, is a very reasonable he go out. Why respawn if you dont let him do nothing? Is extremely unfair what you do. 

 

If you want to make that, just seek and destroy bot bomber.

 

You are just a bully player. Just stop cry for be such a bully player.
