My wife and I would be going to London next week.  I reserved 2 free tickets for the RAF Museum in London.  They have a lot of the planes we fly WoWp.  Hopefully I'll be able to see a genuine Spitfire, Hurricane, 109, Mosquito, Blenheim, Mustang ...

I'm also a Falklands War buff, I understand there's a Vulcan bomber too.

It's just the subway system to get there from London is so crazy, even when we all speak English.

So I'll be offline for 2 weeks.

While stationed in Germany in the early to mid 80's I went on a vacation to London.  Went to the Imperial War Museum, RAF Museum, The Battle of Britain museum and the HMS Belfast.  Was all very interesting.

I would recommend Duxford (ImperialWarMuseum)
It has by far the greatest collection of any european museum:

I was at Bitburg AB during that time period.  Where were you?

I was at Schwabstadl Kaserne which was part of Lechfeld Airbase just south of Augsburg Germany.  Fun fact, the ME262 on display at the Smithsonian Air & Space was captured at Lechfeld.

I see your fun fact and raise.  Bitburg is the site of the graveyard with SS burials sites that Reagan so infamously visited back when.  I wish I had known about it back when I would have loved to visit and take some pictures.
