I summed up the conclusions in this video here:

http://forum.worldof...838#entry853838

WylieECoyote gave more detail here, but same conclusion:

http://forum.worldof...867#entry853867

Do not spend the time watching the video unless you enjoy Excel spreadsheets and monotone commentary.  Herr Doktor Coyote's post gives you all the info you need.

As a postscript, Before the XP-54 existed, I won this guy in an event.  I played less than ten battles trying to figure out where this plane fit in my hangar.  I considered what benefits I could get if I spent the salvage on equipment and the time required to specialize (or the tokens, which I did not have a lot of at that time.)  I came to the conclusion that the P-38J was a better plane in every way, and that the XP-50 really wasn't even interesting enough to fly in the same skies as the P-38 and the Me-410.  I don't remember if the plane was offered before or after the introduction of the Ki-102, but the Ki-102 puts another nail in this guy's coffin.  The XP-54 just fills up the hole with dirt all the way to the top.  The end result is that after thinking hard about where this plane fit in with the other HFs at Tier VI, I decided, *even* as a HF pilot, and as a plane collector, I didn't need this guy taking up a hangar slot, so I sold it.  It's just not interesting enough to fly in preference to the other T6 HFs available, including the Mosquito flavors that exist.

Some people spend their lives laughing at others, instead of with them.

Some people spend their lives spreading negativity and darkness instead of light and love.

Some people spend their lives bullying others, instead of sharing love and kindness.

How incredibly sad.

Some folks spend their life posting stupid crap on the internet, annoying others.

I have followed this discussion.

Back in the ye olde days of the internet, before there were web forums, posting content created by other people without comment was considered rude.  Once web forums started, posting multiple repeated topics with related content as individual posts was considered rude.

Twitter appears to have killed any idea that people should provide their own content, and created an idea that re-Tweeting content is now OK at any time.

If players want to watch these videos, they can be searched for on YouTube.  I don't know if the OP is throwing down filler, or thinks that this content isn't available to anyone who can do a YouTube search, but I certainly don't find it helpful at all.  I find the impressions from the people that post on the regular here to be much more helpful, and take much less time.  In fact, a YouTube search is more useful than searching here because you can get several YouTube videos on the same plane from different content creators which is not going to happen here.

I somewhat agree that posting all the content in one topic would make it more useful and accessible.  The bright spot for those who don't like it is that the content can get pushed off the first page pretty easily.  Once it's off the first page, it really doesn't exist any more on a forum with low traffic.

Unless XHBK is willing to pin a single topic for these videos.

Game related content is not, "stupid crap". If you are so annoyed by game related content, here's a big tip; don't watch it.

In the meantime, you can knock off the harassment.  It's getting really old.

The purpose of a forum is to have centralized content for the benefit of everyone taking part in the forum, instead of just having it splattered around the Internet.  Otherwise, there's no point to a forum.

Crappy game-related content with stupid SPREADSHEETS is indeed stupid crap.  And you don't understand the meaning of the word "harassment".  That's a "you" problem.

Where is that purpose spelled out - go ahead and quote a WG mission statement.  What's that?  It isn't written?

That's because you made that up.  And the "benefit" is also merely your opinion.  You seem to be ignoring the cost, probably due to sheer arrogance on your part.

But it's not the content, necessarily, but HOW YOU SPAM IT.  You seem to be ignoring that part.  Individual posts on similar topics IS RUDE.  Make ONE topic.  Post the videos IN THAT ONE TOPIC as multiple posts.  How hard is this for you to grasp?
