Its very hard to like this plane: its not all that quick, not a turny Heavy, the guns have massive potential damage but they're short ranged, with a very short burst & widely wing mounted so really easy to shoot all around smaller planes and not connect.

The whiffing is the real problem, it always happen at the most crucial moments.

Yes thats nearly exactly my build, still needs some work but pretty low priority for my limited materials budget.

The 2* gun slots really does go a long way to making it tolerable, cumulative damage of 950 with a useful burst length is kinda impressive when you're landing it

 

I've got bonus emphasis more on & cool-down rather than his fire chance,

I might eventually switch out the GOA for LGB because the Ultimate RBC + GOA combo = a fierce negative accuracy & I take both Engine Gurus rather than Marksmen.

I recently specialized it (on EU).
Now using Marksman I + II, improved sight, Goa and Rbc (all experimental. so less negative accuracy) and engine boost.

Accuracy is OK and so is speed.

Just don't turn with anything other than bombers, GA and even less nimble heavies.

On EU?  Why not on the N.A. server?  If we don't support our own server, it will be closed down.  Then we get to enjoy higher ping and lag to a server over 3,000 miles away across the Atlantic Ocean.

The Noble Q was just live streaming the Ki-94-I.  He went with Marksman I and II, the Collimator Sight and the Gas-Operated action to increase the rate of fire.  Set up like this, the plane did very well and especially ripped bombers to shreds.

The sad part is that there are really not that many active posters to get to know.  An afternoon spent reading some of the posts by the 20-30 people who even post here any more would go a LONG way to eliminating this sort of foot-in-mouth thing that he has going.

Unfortunately, he thinks he is a victim of "toxicity" and "harassment", when in reality, all he really is a victim of is his own ignorance.  There is a benefit to lurking and learning.

As an aside, I’ve been racking my brain trying to recall a weekly contribution early on in wowp, by scifax or sinfax or someone similar where he showcased bizarre or rare or little know aircraft…maybe if I search showcase now.  Any long time members remember?  I thought it was something like “Wednesday something”.

Because I live in the Netherlands (NL) and always played on EU. Later on I started playing other servers.

Btw I can fly just fine on NA, so the other way around should be fine too ...

I don't think you have a clue about how many additional Europeans are flying here on the NA server.
GonerNL is Dutch and I am German, for example.
But there are also pilots from many other European and Eastern European countries here on the NA server.
If you have a good internet connection and usable PC equipment, you can play on all servers. For example, I play on the Asia server from time to time without any major restrictions.
