A lot of premiums, like this one, you can only buy when they're on sale through the Premium Shop.   There's not always available.  They come up for purchase about once or twice a year.

One of the highlights of my WoWP career was popping one of these obnoxious P2W skycancers with a Horton.  yvmv.

Got round to watching the video: anyone heard of this alleged double 20% extra Silver on T8 premiums thing before?

I haven't but it would make some sense on why T8 premiums are such a step-up from T7 & why the Gobling earnings are only really on-par with T8s.

Disagree with him on the cost:benefit of Polished Skin.

Mine is built with only normal equipment but with Polished Skin and an equivalent pilot I'm only down 3deg/s roll (217/s vs his 220) & 0.1s on turn (9.2s vs his 9.1) but I have 82 (83 with EG2 pilot) speed rating vs his 75 (I don't think he expands the airspeed so can't see the breakdown), I've surprised a bunch of players who thought they could boost away from me.

All these table comparisons of some aircraft values are not so important for me and therefore only bore me.
What does it help me if an aircraft has 0.1 sec. less turning capability on paper?
An example: even an XP-54, which on paper is one of the fastest (or maybe the fastest?) T6 aircraft, becomes slow enough when it is in duel with another heavy (e.g. KI-102), so that I can shoot it down with a T5 Spitfire or any other random aircraft.
The best values don't help in actual combat, because situationally you can always get into a disadvantageous position somehow.

That wasn't in his table bit but in the setup section.

My point is 0.1s turn time is barely relevant & I get a significant speed advantage for it.

It is important to know what you can/can't out-turn or out-speed.

I don't memorize numbers, mostly just learned relative performances but a table like that can help to highlight some advantages/disadvantages that you might not realise from flying against a particular plane.

Yes, high speed in this plane is very helpful.

It can get around on a Yak-19 if you take it vertical and use your engine.

0.1s time to turn can be a significant advantage if you're not just constantly turning on the same circle. It lets you utilize out-of-plane maneuvers more effectively which translates into changing the geometry of the fight to gain a significant advantage from a very small (on paper) advantage.

Here's a good example of what that can look like (I think Reito also had polished skin so that's probably relevant to the conversation):

Cheers!
