This is awesome. Thank you WG. I am also curious about the paint scheme.
Great event with valuable awards. Can you imagine what would be required to win a (heavy) premium tier 7 ship or tank and the equivalent of 200 mechanical parts in wot or wows? Wowp is WG’s best game in gameplay as well as player relations despite a general lack of development.

No doubt about it. A WoWS grind for something like this is brutal & usually can't be done unless you kick in some dubs/money, or want to grind along for 23hrs a day.

I thought it was a weekend event initially, but see it goes from 4/21 - 5/5. I might be able to do this one if I push it.
The 7 point pilot would be for European planes, right?

Thank you so much for this two week event. It is very generous.
I do have a question though, the 7 point free pilot would be for the Europe nation? I ask this because while a 7 point pilot is fantastic, a 7 point Europe pilot is practically useless because the entire point of the europe tree is to move the planes to another nation.

Agreed, I find WoWS pretty rewarding too. I am able to get tons of ships without any real money. But WoWP has been super generous in planes, gold, premium time and FXP.
Now Tanks on the other hand is a massive grind.

French pilot specifically. Not particularly useful at this point. He will stay in barracks until a French line is hopefully introduced in the future. Or until WG enables assigning EU pilots to other nations similar to EU planes.

They are. It's the grindy stuff like Dockyard builds or insane requirements to get a special release. Did it for the Puerto Rico but never again. Games are too long with not enough payout to make it worth the time.

DANGER. DANGER Will Robinson! Be aware that a bug recently introduced could ruin your VB-10 experience just as it ruined mine with the recent F-82E fiasco.
If you already have a VB-10 and it is Spec, should you sell it so you can receive the 7 point pilot you will get the 7 point pilot but your replacement VB10 will come to you Unspec. What is even worse the game will NOT allow you to Spec it!

There's no need to sell the plane to receive the pilot in this particular case. It's a mission, not a bundle, the crew will be credited in any case when you fulfill the mission requirements. Moreover, your issue is uncommon and can be fixed by contacting Customer Support.

According to the website, the event runs from 4/21 to 5/5 - that's ~ 14 days.
The game client says 17 days left (as of 12:45 AM 4/22 PDT).
Which one is correct?
