I have purchased three Extreme 3D Pro joysticks recently (2 from Amazon, 1 from Best Buy) All three exhibit the same behavior. The forward firing guns stop firing when maneuvering, release the trigger and press again it resumes firing but quits again as soon as I maneuver. My current 3D Pro purchased approximately 9 months ago works perfectly. Has anybody else experienced this or not with a new 3D Pro?

Troubleshooting so far...
If anybody has any other ideas let me know
Tried different USB ports
Tried different computer
Checked Driver (Best Driver Installed Message)
Calibrated the joystick
Uninstalled / reinstalled Logitech gaming software
Cleared game cache
Launched game in safe mode
Reset game settings to default and reconfigured
Use button on keyboard to fire - Problem does not occur
Use button on Joystick base or trigger to fire - Problem occurs
Tested in Star Wars Squadrons - Problem does not occur
Started ticket with Logitech, they suggested it was a Warplanes issue but offered to replace it.
Tried to start a ticket with Warplanes but they don't have a support section for this type of problem.

It does sound like a WG problem. I have found in the past that when my 3D Pro starts acting wonky, that it could be failing, but just as often, it is the game. I keep a seviceable spare to swap out and double check the problem.
If that doesn't correct it, I uninstall the game. Then I clean the registry with CCleaner to get rid of the numerous junk stuff the uninstaller leaves behind. Then I reboot the puter and download game again. Back in bidness!

Sounds like a loose wire or intermittent short where moving the stick causes the connection to break temporarily.
I vaguely recall having to resolder a wire in my 3D pro for the trigger button. After the twist rudder sensors stopped working right I "upgraded" to a Saitek X52 that broke within the 30 day return period and then to a Thrustmaster M16000 that has held up better for a couple years, but I have still had to take it apart to fix 3 different failures- two broken wires and a broken trigger switch. Is it really that hard to make a quality joystick?!!! Seriously- why don't they put $2 more into them to use a thicker gauge wire and bundle it so it doesn't get caught in pinch points.

I have the same problem. Uninstalled game, cleared registry. Reinstalled, used files from here to delete preferences and controls from here: https://eu.wargaming.../article/10628/
I reinstalled the game two times.
Nothing worked. In windows joystick properties test it works. I didn't try it in other games though, I need it for this one. Old Logitech worked good for 8 months, until rudder twist broke. I replaced it under warranty with new one.
New one has this problem mentioned above - stops shooting when maneuvering. I don't recommend Logitech Extreme 3d Pro anymore.
Trying to get used to new Thrustmaster t flight x.
Maybe Thrustmaster usb drivers interfere with Logitech. I don't know. I might try to plug Extreme 3d pro in another computer, where nothing was plugged in except mouse and keyboard with fresh install of WoWP.
Update: Tried in another game and on another computer and in WoWP. The same problem. Logitech defective joystick confirmed. I might contact Logitech.

I resolved my issue by moving the circuit board located in the base from an old stick to one of the new sticks, Fixed the problem completely. The issue with the faulty sticks is definitely in electronics

That is really, really interesting. There might be a market for older model circuit boards. Wish I have saved mine, but after going through 3, I took them to electronics recycling and went back to mouse/kb.

the best part is you can use a cordless mouse
and that doesn't swing back and hit you in the teeth when you throw it

Try this if you still have any joystick.
In Settings assign buttons only to the joystick or to the keyboard, don't put alternative buttons in the second column. I think if you put keyboard buttons and joystick button on the same function something stops working. I think the game does not like alternative buttons.
