With all this disappearing of assets lately I am a little apprehensive that I can't find and document my candy assets.  Is this a similar situation to certificates when they first came out?

In the hangar there is the counter, centered under 'Tech Tree & Depot' . You can click on it to expand and see progress. Looks like it counts until next step completed rather than overall total. Probably good enough if you are just screenshotting to keep track if anything disappears.

THe only way I have found is to screenshot all the after-action reports.

After you complete the mission and have the plane you still can make and stockpile candy canes.  But I can't figure out where to see, count, or snapshot them.  A less than optimal situation IMO.

Ah, did not read your last post...  I was not aware you could still earn Candy Canes after completing the Pogo mission.

Hmmmm....

For a full month.  How confident are you that they will be kept safely for you where you can't even see how many you have?

I have no idea. I am just trying to reach the Pogo and after that, I have no cares.

I do agree with you, there should be some type of counter to determine how many you have, but I see no mechanism for this. Truly a mystery wrapped in an enigma and seasoned with Old Bay.

Do they have ANY value after this event? Will they carry over to next year or be converted to silver/gold? If not, it probably doesn't matter too much. If they do have value after the event there should absolutely be an inventory of them.

They do have value.  They convert to free XP, 1 to 100.

In that case, they need to have an inventory of them show up somewhere.

When you complete all candy line and receive the POGO, all other candies earned are automatically converted into Free XP. So, these candies are not stored somewhere, they are converted into Free XP as soon as received.

I've been noticing that when I click on the button to go to the Holiday Trail, on the left it sometimes says the normal "8000 PP - 1 CANDY" but sometimes says "3000 PP - 1 CANDY, 5000 PP - 2 CANDY & 10000 PP - 3 CANDY"...

I don't get paid out at the rate, it is always the normal 8000 PP for 1 candy.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Yes, I too am seeing this from time to time...   I wish that was how it was....   Would be a lot easier to get through.    As a player who isn't very good at the game. my 8K games aren't as numerous as the better players.   I wish that it went on the scale teased every now and then!!

It's not just equipment.....

I won a Supermarine Spitfire Vb IM the other day out of a crate.

I had a TON of gold  from buying crates.   So i spent a ton of gold buying golden tickets to specialize it, and then spent another like 4K gold converting XP to free xp to give the pilot some skills.

Played a few games, and really enjoyed it.  Spent the gold for a perm paint job.  Nose art, and emblem.

........         Went to play the airplane today, and it is GONE!!!    The pilot is sitting in the barracks, and the plane is GONE!!!

Ya know, after spending my cash on those crates, then my gold on everything else....       IT's enough to PO the Pope!!

I looked and I see that aircraft is not in the list of reward planes for the holiday crates....  but geeze....   letting me spend all that money on it, and play it a few times. then taking it away was WRONG!!!

I put in a ticket... this should be interesting.

Go look in my stats.. you'll see the Vb IM with 2 games played.   And the Pilot is now moved into my barracks.    I had the Vb before i won the Vb IM.    Obv. getting such a rare aircraft was a big deal to me, and the first thing I did was deck it out and fly it a few times.   Obv. I took stock of the fact that I now had 3 airplanes that were basically the same....    Spitfire V, Spitfire Vb, and Spitfire Vb IM.    There is no way i could have put those games into my stats without the plane....
