Do y’all think some wowp commanders or Executive officers should pay the members to help their clan for a certain number of time? Kind of like professional sports.

If we had clan wars/objectives AND you felt the need for mercenaries AND said clan wars/objectives had substantial rewards, then it would probably be done. Just not officially.

i'm guessing that you have some kind of juicy gossip for us, but you're too afraid to type it out

come sit over here right beside me and let's talk

the English paid the Prussians to beat Napoleon, but then immediately spun the white lie that they alone beat him

English accounts minimized Prussian troop strength, but researchers found out the truth     300 years late

tell the same lie often enough and brazenly enough, and ignorant people won't even question it

wait, that sounds...    nvrmind

Well of course I am entitled to being paid for my service to the  clan.

It is only right.

Here we go !! another thread to warn commanders past, present and future about the things your clan can put you through

Purchasing the clan is only the 1st payment you put down........from there you deal with all sorts of shenanigans

Invites, ranks, rank disputes, training, setting up and leading events, inner and out of clan squabbles, assisting them with in and out of game issues, technical game problems, pc issues and i'm still just getting started !!

Oh sure you can be a nice commander...give em your grandfathers gold watch that was hidden in 2 people's bums for countless years and they'll snag it out of hand without a thank you

Bunch of ungrateful heathens they are !!! they'll start a war and expect you to end it while making faces and hand gestures behind your back.

Give em an order and they wander into a corner....oh i gotta go my wife is calling me.........dogs barking in the background.....kids yelling and screaming and they just snitched your kill

Clans can put you through hell and thankfully i was already there

There are rewards....... and yes i am a sucker who gives more than a thank you but it comes at a terrible price.

I have to admit, the video always amused me.

Speaking of which, the Sam Kinnison version of Wild Thing is also fantastic.

The whole point of most WG and other pro-sport games is exactly that.  However, the compensation is typically (but now always) in-game gold and perks.  Most really good players worthy of $ earn through youtube and other streaming services.

The only problem is WoWP isn't popular enough to justify any of that....and WG has never brought CWs to this game to do proper payouts.

Yup and here they placed the same clan system that Tanks has but to date only a select few clans have ever been able to make use of the treasury feature when they somewhat supported community events

i once requested to have gold placed into the treasury paid out of my own pocket ....they wouldn't do it and refused to give me a straight answer to why

Rather strange considering it would be profit for WG and helpful to clans to be able to issue gold to those in need or to simply give appreciation.

The way I understand the history of the treasury, there were some very unfortunate incidents of looting and drive by thefts.  Then the scoundrel would leave the clan destitute while he enjoyed his ill gotten gains.

For some odd reason this infuriated those left behind and there was much weeping and wailing to WG (also gnashing of teeth).  So WG cut off this capability in order to protect folks from the unscrupulous.

(And themselves from a deluge of tickets)

Yeah they replaced it with x-mas loot boxes which is no better as the receiver would open the boxes and get nothing but JUNK so they leave the clan

i had 2 of them pull that stunt during the last event like its the clan's fault WG decided to put something worth less than fecal matter in their containers
