Like I said, there are times when the health bar of that GT is so low that you know the hub cannon on that German LF can take it.  And if you're passing by anyway, might as well, right?  When I am doing the Wild Weasel thing for my bomber team makes, I'll go and kill the AA guns, then work on GTs if the ADA are far away.  But that's more with MRF and HF, and less with LF.

Well, CervixCovid, I do admit that I have fun playing. But the most fun is getting tokens for nothing but playin' and my gold for free. I toss WG a sawbuck or less every year or two, but I am cheap. I get my tokens with sweat and effort and my gold the same.

agree.  There are players that only play when they are flighted up or only in their OP plane.  Win rates will be different for people that mostly fly solo and are far more subject to the whims of MM and rng.  Example - used to be a player..in the HOF top 3 all the time (hasn’t flown in several years). Oliviako.   Only flew the Tier 10 German GAA.  He was a machine with that plane.  But his win rate was never subject to any of the normal negatives that affect an account by working on tech tree stuff, with other planes, etc.

Agree plus 1. I have an alt account I started that is only for try hard winning, no premiums and I am at tier 6, not enough battles for the HoF yet but I will be in the top 30 if my win rate holds. I’m doing it solo but even solo if you pick a powerful line and quit while you’re ahead each day you can manage a good WR. But it is not as fun as playing like I do on my main IMO.

My stats from 1.9 would disagree with that theory, at just under 2k battles with a 49.52% win rate and average of 0.64 kills per battle. Granted, that was always against human opponents and "6 beers" was usually around my starting point (or about 3-4 shots of 151 rum), but I seem to get much better general results flying sober now.

the issue with being at tier 5. games end too fast. people suck at the game too hard.

 

flying to circles and shooting planes or GT's seems to be too big brained for 70% of the player base
