I normally do not play any of my games in the evening from 4pm to midnight due to servers being loaded. 

Xbox, PS and computer all have the same issue of lag when playing online between 4 and 12.

If you want lag-free skies, I fly just before and after server reset and rarely encounter any problems then.

Sorry to disappoint Captain.  If it's any consolation, my dad was career enlisted and one of the best pieces of advice he ever gave me was to take care of my enlisted people, because they would make or break my career.  I was fortunate enough to have a number of really good chiefs and senior petty officers during my time in - a good senior enlisted is worth way more than their weight in gold to a wet behind the ears junior officer.   I even had one of my chiefs pull me aside and (politely, but quite firmly and pointedly) read me the riot act when I screwed something up - he was right to do so, and not only did I appreciate the correction, I remembered it and didn't do it again.

 

I'd say I work for a living now, but I moved into management a couple years ago so I'm probably not working for a living anymore LOL

I would like to add one more oddity. Yesterday I had the described problems on the NA server in my 2nd game. I then switched to the EU server and was able to play there without any problems. So it's definitely not my hardware and the problems seem to be more severe on the NA server.

Thank you ma'am! Please keep us posted on the results. Knowing something is being done will lower the amount of non-constructive posts made out of frustration, such as: "Packet loss and lag and roombas, oh my!"

Doesn't WP get it that folks aren't going to fork over the $$ for more robust pilot/aircraft if the game doesn't run reliably?  The WOWP game launcher won't even load for me this morning.  Maybe the only reason the game remains is that it's a backdoor to the NSA.

I was thinking the connection was getting better actually. Haven't had dropped packets since last week. Still some occasional latency, but not dropping like before.

I got two "you have been disconnected from the server" messages last evening and now twice again this morning right when I click the battle button. I can be in the hanger any amount of time with no DC but when I try to start a battle is when it disconnects. Game doesn't crash so I can log back in ok and jump right back into a battle but this only just started a couple of days ago (been flying since March 3rd of 2020).  Everything else is normal on ping times (latency) and FPS so my I can't blame my ISP.
