The introduction of Akira makes the nation more exiting.

There is one problem however: the lack of a viable tier 8 Japanese premium plan to effectively train her.

J8M is fun once in a while but I don't consider it a consistent tier 8 plane.

Her innate ability to make the most out of her nations deceptively good guns should not be over looked in any of the japanese premiums.
She is grants the same buff as advanced versions of  both long barrels and reinforced bolt carriers. Without the usual nerfs that balance that out.

Maybe she can do some anime cosplay? What about switching some Europe aircraft to Japanese? I think she'd be great in the S-199 that has 720m range on it's 20's. Akira will increase that to 792m, an extra second of burst, & throw Gas Operated Action...Wow, if that works you will have the most powerful 20's at Tier 6. As Coyotl pointed out, you'll essentially get 20's with 3 equipment slots. On second thought, forget I said that. (waves hand) You don't want the S-199.
