ANSWER: NO,

AND WE ARE NOT SORRY...

YOU SHOULD BE SORRY

Ace: I'm sorry JoJoNewish, this is the game bro

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

Ran into this just once today - on my last battle, and it didn't persist the whole game.   The other player (1 v 1) was experiencing it as well.  I didn't get to see the backwards flying planes this time, but I did get to see bombers doing their impression of hovering helicopters shrugging off direct hits from all my MGs....and the explosion of the string of bombs at 5,000 feet was pretty cool too, if  a little disconcerting.

But yes, this seems to be enough of a problem that WG should look into it.   Continued silence is an answer in and of itself, and not a good one.

I've always thought that when it spikes, it spikes for all humans.
Lag in game is really bad past weeks. (1 out of 4 games i have to bail out)

Got into a battle yesterday, massive lag-spike (planes were floating in the air).
Sometimes i heard the cannon shell impact sound, so someone was shooting at me and i was dead in a couple of seconds.
Seems it was the other human, who didn't suffer from this lag.

Yeah that could have been AAA doing that to you.
According to the kill cam; I even got shot down once by the burning wreckage of an ADA fighter that had already crashed into a mountain in cold peak

The lag affected us all..

Everybody was getting hit with that lag in the evening hours
I had to quit the event about 7-9 hours early because it was just unplayable.
I couldnt even reliably hit the armored workshop in a Mine (the largest non moving target in the game) with my airplane  ... Let alone a bomb or rocket.

Fair warning. My success rate at speculative guesswork is on par with my WinRate. Hit or Miss.
I start on the right track and then sometimes make a weird left turn and get lost in the weeds ...

double blackscreen disconnected games in a row.  Doing something else this afternoon because the game isn't working.

Not best pleased.

i saw 100% packet loss twice last night during SNL         we were all on Discord together both times

it was about 5 seconds long both times, about an hour apart       nobody but me saw any network issues at all last night

it was ice storm-y between NC and Wash DC last , but nothing much happened around Raleigh

5-6 seconds is the max time that a longhaul circuit takes to drop and the traffic gets auto-rerouted, and i would expect to see increased ping times for a while

but pings were normal both before and after, so i don't think the servers themselves were involved        it must have been me

terrified voice on the phone: "The pings are coming from inside the house!!"

100% packet loss in a game I just finished (around 11:30 AM Pacific time).  4v4.   Significant lag and packet loss up to 100%.    Cost me at least a couple of kills and might have cost my team the win.  Multiple players on both sides commented on the lag issues in that game, so I know i wasn't just me.

This is a persistent issue that is increasing in its presence.

It's been happening a month, and getting worse. They're actually attracting players, but that won't last long at this rate.

Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal.
