Last night I earned the McCampbell Medal in one of my battles.   It's not the first time, but this time I'm not sure it was accurately awarded.

 

I made 11 aerial kills (all in one sortie) - 4 attack aircraft, 2 bombers, 3 heavy fighters, 1 multirole fighter and 1 ADA.   Since the McCampbell requires at least 10 kills in one sortie, with at leas 1 of each aircraft type, it seems to me that I shouldn't have received it, since I didn't kill any red fighters.

 

The only thing I can think of is maybe the ADA I killed was a fighter and that counted?   I don't remember what type of ADA I killed.  I was in my P-38F so I normally go for the heavy ADA, but I'll take out an ADA light fighter if the opportunity presents itself.

Very likely a Boomerang or similar ADA.

Yep must have been a Light ADA kill.

 

'Aerial targets' = anything flying thats not blue.

'Enemy aircraft' = needs to be a red player/bot. Neutral/red ADA & Bomber flights are excluded from this.
