I would absolutely love to see a new clan primarily if not exclusively for our lady pilots called "Night Witches."  Do a look-up about these ladies in WWII. Russian ladies, brave, loyal, dangerous, given total crap planes to fly as I recall.  The  Germans called them "Nachthexen."  Their theme song, anthem, whatever, would be "Night Witches" by Sabaton.  The lyrics are GREAT and describe them well, or so according to my minutes of research.

Watching an old Russian movie, "Night Witches In The Sky", actually directed by one of the NWs herself, Yevgenia ZhigulenkoHero of the Soviet Union.  There is am award-winning screenplay, "The Night Witches" (https://www.facebook...f=page_internal), that will hopefully be made into a much better movie than what I am watching.

found this to share:

"Night Witches" (Germandie NachthexenRussianНочные ведьмыNochnyye Vedmy) was a World War II German nickname for the all female military aviators of the 588th Night Bomber Regiment, known later as the 46th "Taman" Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment, of the Soviet Air Forces. Though women were initially barred from combat, Major Marina Raskova used her position and personal contacts with the Chairman of the Council of People's CommissarsJoseph Stalin, to obtain permission to form female combat units. On October 8, 1941, an order was issued to deploy three women's air-force units, including the 588th Regiment. The regiment, formed by Major Marina Raskova and led by Major Yevdokiya Bershanskaya, was composed of primarily female volunteers in their late teens and early twenties.[1]

An attack technique of the night bombers involved idling the engine near the target and gliding to the bomb-release point, with only wind noise left to reveal their presence. German soldiers likened the sound to broomsticks and named the pilots "Night Witches".[1][2] Due to the weight of the bombs and the low altitude of flight, the pilots did not carry parachutes until 1944.[3][4]

When the regiment deployed to the front line in June 1942, the 588th Night Bomber Regiment became part of the 4th Air Army of the Southern Front. In February 1943 the regiment was honored with the Guards designation and reorganized as the 46th Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment in the 325th Night Bomber Aviation Division, 4th Air Army2nd Belorussian Front; in October 1943 it became the 46th "Taman" Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment,[5] "Taman" referring to the unit's involvement in the Novorossiysk-Taman operations on the Taman Peninsula during 1943

I do hope the screenplay is made into a movie.

Anyway, thinking about it, there are certainly not enough interested ladies playing to make a clan, anyway.

That's the show about Lidya Litvak

But there is also a russian show (same producers) about the Night witches, called: "night swallows"

Is there a clan for bombers only/mostly?

Not that I am aware of.  Maybe because of the limited number of bombers compare to other classes?

Bombers = 23

GAA = 30

Light Fighters = 43

Heavy Fighters = 70

Multi-Roles = 134

A total of 300 planes in the game, including premiums

Yeah, but there is nothing like a bomber in this game.  Amending the primary post with I wish someone would start a bomber only clan.  I think they deserve it.

OK, I have a different idea.  What about a bomber club named "Night Witches."  I would pay for the enjin.com site or whatever, hoping one of you guys would help me with it, been a few years.  I/we could gather all the excellent forum info on flying bombers and post it there under proper headings (I would do all that if wished.)

In the in-game contacts tab, there is at the bottom right a "Create Group" tab.  We could create a group called "Night Witches" and drag its members into that folder it makes for you.  And there is our club, as opposed to trying to get pilots to join a clan, especially if they are already in one.

What'cha think? The "Night Witches" War Planes club to study the science of War Planes bombers.

My first question would be, what is enjin.com?

Why not just start a new group on the in game thingy.  It works most of the time.

Enjin.com is a web site maker place.  It would be where bomber experts go to teach the rest of us, where new or newish bomber jockeys go to learn, and where I post every dern thing worthy for us all to gaze upon.

The group in the game thingy is fine, but with no clan central site, or no web presence to help pull knowledge together, it would be just a folder in the game.  I am getting more excited about this, and I do need support and assistance, mostly support.  And assistance. With support.
