The winter trials show the BF 108 E-3 for sale for 800 gold, but the plane doesn't show up on the in purchase aircraft screen. All the other tier 5 aircraft and all other premium aircraft seem to show up.

 

I don't already have the aircraft already, and I've restarted the game after resetting the cache.

I second that. I was scanning through menus back and forth and couldn't find it. So the only explanation is a glitch. I saw this plane in action and it rips [edited].

I got a message that the plane isn't for sale and it was included on the list accidentally. If anyone was able to buy it then I'll assume that it was removed for sale because it was too OP. Oh well.

I remember now.  That plane, along with a special Spitfire, came with special pilots with special plane specific skills.  I think it was the Battle for Dunkirk or some such.

i love the e-3 so much that i mothballed my Emil       that was a sad day, because the E was special       i needed the pilot elsewhere 

 

that plane, and the B, opened my eyes to the dark side of bnz

It's definitely not too OP.  I have one, and prefer my tech tree version by a lot.

Gold discounts are applied only to the premium aircraft available for in-game purchase. The BF 109 E-3 is a special aircraft that have never been available for purchase using gold, so no one could buy it. It was mentioned in the list accidentally.
