well really cool weekend with the event this last plane i get in today in the crates from yesterday  event with the  global mission , is a really cool plane the guns over heat very easy so i will make it fast and agile and try  to not overheat that weapons the rest is good , and the gunner works  fine well now i have extra works to take to specialist the last planes that i get

The Chain Lightning deletes bombers/GAA like nobodies business.  And it doesn't take more than a few shells landing to take apart light fighters as well.

I really need to play mine more.  Postal Monkey obviously has his set up to address two REALLY glaring issues with this plane:

 

Burst length, and fragile engines.  It's already fast and turny (for a HF), so fixing these downsides makes sense.  Before it is specialized, managing boost is job #1.

Agreed. The Xp-58 is practically a 'bomber delete' button. I got it too on the first week.

I only got about 4 crates in the event so far, and I got XP-58 and Type 224 in the first two.  (Haven't used XP-58 yet since I'm pretty meh about heavies.)

I hate them so much.

They are such a big PITA to deal with.

 

You NEED to not get hit by the main guns and then chasing them they mess you up with the tailgunner while being quick & agile enough that its hard to get a quick kill -> good chance you need to break off.

Then in a few tens of seconds the bastard is back!

 

And thats just against the bot piloted ones

BamBaLam:  Pulled it out, won. Had ILIKEWAFFLES on my side.  I started out hitting NOTHING, kind of apologized to Waffles as I figured we would lose because of me, and I also noticed that although I had it specialized, my equipment was GONE.  I know why, but am not saying.  A few others know of what I speak.  Anyway, we pulled it out (tho Waffles left the battle at some point, maybe after killed after squall I'm not sure).  I got I think 7 kills and I think 3 sectors.  We were against a flighted pair as I recall, also.  I think...
