How are you trying to post the video on these forums? EDIT, So I was able to do this YT video, so lets work together and see what is going on your end to see if it is how you are trying to post it on these forums.
Here is an old WoWp video I made in the past and is on YouTube and I just linked it here to make sure if it is working correctly.

It's not a bug.
This forum operates on limited resources & doesn't allow posters to upload files to the server.
To get around this you must upload your files, pictures videos etc. to third party sites like imgur or youtube & link them in your post.
Instead of crying because you received a little ribbing, you could always politely ask for some help.

Ah-ha-ha, what's that, 1985? 500 kilobytes TOTAL limit! Kilobytes, Carl, KILOBYTES!
And probably because of the same "limited" resources most of third-party images sites are restricted ))
You clearly remind me the Lose_dude's brother ))

Just like The_real_Gouldy stated, the forums has limited space to upload to their server. Also to embed can be a pain. Like for the pic below I have to save it to Imgur and then embed it here.
So for a video to work like I posted in this thread above, you want to upload your video to YouTube. Then click on the YouTube button (green circle) not the Attach This File (red circle), there you want to copy and paste the URL for your YT video and place it in the URL section and then click OK.

Yeah some don't work.
But you also need to use image tab with an acceptable host link in order to embed an image.
As previously said you can't just upload images directly to the forum server because
of limits.
Most people use imgur because it's relatively easy to use.
