I have been up in there air tossing the idea around about purchasing some more premium planes.

With the current state of the game the idea is kind of IFFY.

Rarely do we get any news about the status of the game.

There are currently some really good option that are out on the market that gives WG competition.

AC Valhalla

Civ6

SW Squadrons

Forza Horizon 5

Just to name a few.

My biggest gripe is the lack of NEWS about this game.

Lack of participation from the WG staff.

I would hate to spend money on a " non existent " item

only to discover a year form now that the game shuts down from lack of player base.

Owning multiple game platforms with multiple attributes makes decision making difficult.

PS4 VR and the new PS5 is about to drop

Xbox

Computer

It would be nice to have a little news about the entire WG family of games.

The first rule of Flight Club...

1: "You do not talk about Flight Club"

:sceptic:

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

I only got to have a few months with 1.9 before 2.0 came along but it was a major adjustment for me.  I still do not understand why they didn't keep 1.9 as an alternate play style selected like a training room battle but here we are.

I adjusted, adapted and played.  I did not choose to sit up in the bleachers and jeer at all the active players like some malevolent troll.

But you do you.

Ok D&D, point out where I jeered at the players, not the two companies responsible for this mess.  I've said to each their own.  I gave up way before 2.x.  I had adjusted to the fact I could at least use the gold and free XP in tanks until they brought some clan related activities.  Then they removed the one working feature with false promises to return shortly.

You, I tried to help you add an avatar and point out why the Recruitment area allows only one post per clan.  No, I jeer at you, but not for your love of 2.duh.

Most of the premiums above Tier 3 or 4 are hugely overpriced.  The tech tree planes and free premiums from events are every bit as enjoyable as overpriced premiums, so there's no point in purchasing overpriced pixels.  I love the funky little Period 1 premiums and prefer to spend my $ on event crates to collect them, and I particularly enjoy the christmas events, and used to enjoy halloween and april fools events though they pretty much gave up on those.   I even play Tanks during Tanksmas, despite overall hating the accursed Tank game with a passion. (Warships is just boring to me these days, so I don't go there anymore)

My view is this: I enjoy the hell out of Warplanes as it is.  It's fortunate that it isn't more popular, because with more players I guarantee it would just fall into the same trap of WG grind-to-win and PVP toxicity that completely ruins Tanks.  In Warplanes you can take out a stock unequipped tech tree plane with a 90% pilot and have a great game, with plenty of time and room to learn to use it better, and no bickering in chat.  I'm just happy the servers are still on and my hangar continues to fill up.

I spend money because I CAN. I get a LOT more entertainment out of this game then I do my $300+ dollar cable bill. Or my $250 per month phone bill. A lot of people ARE spending money on the game If you bothered to check the players in your games. If, you were not a whiney, NPC, diminutive female hound. :izmena:

!!!!   Oh my gosh  !!!!  Dude, I cut the cable cord like 3 years ago and haven't looked back.  Got Google voice and an Obi phone system and I think I pay like $20 a year so we have 911 service.  Of course, we have Netflix and Amazon Prime and Disney+, but those three together plus internet and phone come out to like, I dunno, maybe $120 per month.

If you added Cellular into that amount for phone and it's a family plan, I can see phone costing around that.  But holy shamolee, that's quite a lot to pay per month.

You're spending $300 a month on cable?

Check yourself, there are better deals out there.

There are even better phone deals than $250 a month.

I too spend money on this game but with the year about to change and new games coming out.

The decision is as hard as choosing free pornhub or Star Wars Squadrons VR

I mean Star Trek on line or Star Wars Squadron VR.

And why are calling me an NPC ? I am a PNC ( Player with No Class )

I'm not calling YOU a NPC. By cable, I mean TV internet, Prime, Hulu, Showtime, HBO, Starz, Netflix, and CBS.

It's interesting that my cable is so interesting yet you ignored the point that I spend money on the game. :teethhappy:

Yet we are sticking around and playing this game.

I don't enjoy any of those games. I have not come across any game that caught my attention like wowp. :child:

I have almost all of the released content minus a few items (Spitfire Vb IM, Rudolph Hawker, some skins).

I feel wowp has provided great return on my investment.

Yet I have minimal expectations. I will enjoy the game for as long as it remains available.

And if they release the few items I am missing, I will indeed purchase them.

I will be sad if the game disappears one day. But doesn't everything?

In the mean time, to me, this is the greatest game available today.

See you in battle.

I won't spend money on anything but planes that come with pilots that have skill points.

As someone who started post 2.0 BECAUSE of 2.0, I have no vested interest in the "Good Old Days" and find the constant whining whingers to be a waste of my time and their effort.   I try to be F2P, but I have bought some crates here and there trying for new planes.  There's no way in Hades that I'm sinking real money into a Premium batch of pixels.  $50 gets one heck of a bottle of single malt, just sayin.  Game's not perfect, but it's fun and enjoyable, and I've been seeing a LOT of new players the past few months, so there may still be hope.
