XP-36F flown with a consumable, ‘fireworks,’ applied.  They were firework rockets/mortar bursts at perhaps around 700m altitude.  In the first battle when used, the counter-fire seemed reduced, and in the second, even more so.  Could it be that the enemy were blinded or had reduced observation range?

Being curious, do ‘fireworks’ hinder enemy fire?  How about the ‘sparklers,’ and ‘smoke flares?’

These consumables seem to be limited to tiers IV and under – (uncertain).  Do they have combat value besides ‘unexpected/confusing?’

It would only surprise humans, bots do not recognize the effects.

But a truce to this mournful story

Personally, I don't know.  The one and only time I tried them (I hate giving up valuable slots for carp) I was in a flight.  My flight mate never saw them.

Sometimes when I fly my Tier 2 planes I put the fireworks on and launch them for giggles if I encountered another player, but I never knew if anyone else could actually see them.  Normally when I'm flying I'd be too focused on the battle to notice if anyone else used them or not.

I question why the WoWP devs thought that fireworks would be a fun thing to have as an in-game item. It requires us to use one of our precious consumable slots. Same for gold consumables. Our gold is way too precious to throw away on consumables. Thus I will never use any of them so those items might as well not be here. Only newbies that don't know any better might fall for this gold sink but not for very long.

Everything is not precious. Gold isn't even precious. I use gold gold consumables.  :sceptic:
