It's way past time to remove the consumable items that cost gold.

please drink a cup of coffee to engage brain before visiting the forum.
OK, so you don't use gold ammo, doesn't mean the rest of us don't
An individual says it's a waste of gold.
Others say it is a waste of hard earned real money.
Yet, so many still purchase the imaginary toon, paint scheme, and other things.
You can still win against others that use gold ammo,
You can still win against a person that bought that shiny new electronic toon plane,
See, that is the thing about play for free.
Always remember the fastest way through the unemployment line is, keep telling a boss how to run their business.

hey, it gives me a bit more confidence
whenever i swap it out for universal, it 'seems' to take a few ticks longer to finish a kill so... nothing scientific about it at all it's immaterial, really i like it
btw, i luuuuve incendiary in low tier heavies can't believe that i didn't think of that years ago boom, burn and zoom also, incendiary in the twinstang
i used gold ammo in WoT, and saw benefits maybe there's none here, but i've got the gold and nothing better to spend it on
well, nose-zart i do love me some good, completely useless nose-zart

For tanks the issue was gold rounds had a big advantage for penetration. Accusations of pay to win probably drove the realization that free to play players should have access to gold rounds via silver/in game credits. I don’t think the advantage is as large here, but if it was, then those rounds should be available for in game credits also.

Priceless. As in .... no price, no value.
HOW many TIMES has someone I caught on fire came back at me saying, "YOU USING GOLD AMMO!! HUH!! HAX!!" You can absolutely tell the difference in a bot's damage (or a human's) to you when it is using gold ammo. It is obvious. And this is in ALL three periods.

You do realize that everyone would be using those consumables.
Instead of spending gold they would be spending credits.
They would be spending real money to have the credits to use the " gold " ammo.
Sort of like the entire idea and concept of raising the minimum wage.
as minimum wage is increased so does the cost of living.
Never ending economic nightmare of still not making a livable wage.
So therefore you have still not solved your problem.
Wallet warriors will always bury you.

I didn't notice much of a difference on my few test runs. *shruggie*
I did laugh a few weeks back when someone that I had shot down claimed in chat that "Incendiary Ammo is no-skill!"
I had Universal loaded. (and yes, I burned him down. Next time, pack a fire extinguisher?)

What skin is it off your nose what ammo someone else is using? Nobody is forcing you to use gold, silver, or free ammo. Use what you want to and leave the rest of us the freedom to do the same.

I have a LOT of gold and I don't know what to do with it. It was won in days past when WG put on events and such where you could win gold.
GAWD, that brought out a lot of players. If the cat left in Kiev could just hit the "win gold" keys instead of the standard weekend "get crud for playing" keys, we might have more participants.
Anyway, with all my gold, and based on this thread, I find that loading gold ammo is a very tempting proposition
HAVE AT YOU, YOU KNAVE!
Beware when you see Bobby_Tables in battle. He might be packin' HEAT.

There are currently a lot of players using gold ammo.
My planes are catching on fire like California.
Oh Wait, NVM.
I was flying Japanese planes. They catch on fire when you turn too sharp into a west wind.

Nah, cut down on the legumes. I am sure your fully calibrated flatulency is adding to the combustibles.

Heh...
I shall use my aircraft and my skill to slightly inconvenience mine enemies.
