reported for spam bump

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

Happy birthday WG!

Hurricane Ia and La-11. Just what I have been hoping for. Thank you!

I bought the Mary Loveheart bundle, but she's not in my barracks or anywhere.

Is there an extra step that's required?

says you have to fly 1 mission before your granted the pilot. also they're assigned to specific aircraft.(don't know if they can be changed later)

I've seen plenty of references to Mary (in particular) being used in other US planes, so fairly certain that they can be retrained for other planes.

So the game has 2 special pilots for light fighters, 1 for multi-roles, 1 for ground attack aircraft, and 1 for heavy fighters.  What's missing from this list?

Where's the special pilot for bombers or the special gunner?  Bombers get no luv!  But they do get nerfed so I guess they ain't completely forgotten.

What are “locked” skill points?

Points are predesignated and cannot be changed or moved.

So having to FLY 1 mission. Does that mean mission in the specific airframe THAT pilot is designated for (meaning trained for out of the gate).

OR does that mean FLY any mission, in any plane to get the actual pilot?

Big difference, because that means I have to purchase with silver THAT particular plane they are trained for.

just so ridiculous       it's embarrassing to have to explain to new folks why we have to do that

do other games make you do one additional thing before you get the items that you've already paid for?

wait...  we've never been told why        do you think that it's a fraud prevention thing?       what could be a reasonable reason?

"you will receive the pilot after your first fight." - the only condition is to fly a battle, if any other additional conditions are not mentioned (plane, Tier, points) it means that thre are no any additional conditions.

Unique pilots are really unique item in terms of how they are added to an account. They can be charged only through a mission (play a battle, win a battle, and other familiar to you missions). Of course we have a condition "log into the game", but there's one important thing here — log-in condition works only once per day, because your log-in is an event that is unique once per day. Thus, it would be wrong to put this condition in action when it comes to pilots' mission. Why? Simply because if you've already logged into the game today and then you buy a bundle, it contents (unique pilots) would arrive only on your next unique log-in (tomorrow at the earliest).

but... we just want to know why?        yes, we know that you have other 'conditions' for things         how does this even benefit you?

we hand over the money, you give us the stuff

My guess is the pilots were programmed to be obtained only as a reward for completing missions.

The decision to offer them in the shop was probably made after programming resources became scarce.
