It is amazing how much detail and emphasis has gone into the development aspect of the other platforms that Wargaming owns...

World of Tanks seems to have a plethora of things going on.  I am sure the development teams spent a lot of time on this:

https://worldoftanks.com/en/news/announcements/july-2020-sneak-preview/?utm_campaign=wot-crm&utm_term=inf&utm_medium=email&utm_source=email&utm_content=crm-062620-julyprev

World of Warships also has a great deal of things happening and seems to give players a lot of content to shoot for:

https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/

That brings us to World of Warplanes which seems to have just been abandoned with a very vanilla/grade school website which mentions little to no interesting or entertaining content for players and zero regard for its base community:

Good. That means I do not have to feel like I am losing out on anything with my busy schedule.

Holy cow. I can not be in the game more than 8 hours a day.

It already takes me a week to do the daily missions for tokens.

I can barely finish the weekend missions.

In less than 2 weeks it will be a year since the last major patch rolled out, 2.1.

Wowp...need to " step up to the plate ".

A few clans are doing something for their members on week-ends.

They are PvP"ing with a few clans to keep the game from becoming to stale:bajan:

Others are putting together "open" PvP'ing to anyone who would like to come in and dogfight.

Some are putting together training sessions, & actively looking for matches for their members.

The membership themselves are doing their best to keep Wowp  active

BUT....

Without the support of Wowp, or some serious support for the game, members will begin to look elsewhere.:hiding:

I believe we still have a good base of pilots that do play & enjoy the game, but without some kind of improvement here, they are going to lose them.

Bottom line: Get off of your Butt and start supporting this game, or get your resume updated, because your base here will be leaving.

Well, there is a sunny day ahead.  I figure the next major update will coincide with the release of the new bombers in the Fall of 2019 and    ...er .... ah .... oh.

It would be kind of funny if they actually embraced the quietness, a little bit, for the next update, such as:

-- hangar modified to have no workers in background, roads are empty, electricity is off, etc., just an occasional tumbleweed passing by

-- calendar on hangar wall stuck on 2019

-- random engine/airframe failures due to lack of mechanics at airfield/hangar

-- skins modified to have weather/rust effects

Having been a ships beta tester and supertester, and playing that game up until a year ago...I'd rather get nothing than what WG considers...progress.

" interesting ?  "    actually not....  your on my ignore list " during the game ".:B

But being you spend more time posting :bajan: then playing, I am giving it some consideration, of ignoring you here also.

Haven't done it yet, but you might just be the first. :great:

But based on the report,(  you remember that one )  :hiding: the moderator just might do us all a favor and put you on the " permanent listing " :)

I hate the Warships site because clicking on the sides closes the article you are viewing

Game is on life support. Writing was on the wall the day they stopped showing player numbers. Hall of Fame a joke, do a check how many even play anymore. Sad once was a fun game. LOL about the player base will leave soon if things do not improve, most already did except a few like me that for some reason think things may get better. No play no pay.

The requium for this game has been posted more times than I can remember.  The game is dead. Long live the game!

And it just trudges along like a bored immortal zombie.

So I just play the frickin' game when I'm so inclined ie. enjoy the scenery, go down in flames, send other guys down in flames, occasionally stuff one up a bomber's * the usual stuff.  I use my own inclinations to enjoy the game doing things like speccing all my biplanes (thanks for the spark, Oregon) or acquiring every single Spitfire in the game and speccing those that I can fly with some level of competence...that kind of stuff.  WG's demands and conditions put a lot of stuff out of reach but since I haven't graduated past V yet I care not nor do I intend to.  If I get to Tier X some day urrah.  If not, meh.

To paraphrase Bob Dylan "The game don't need you and man they expect the same."  It works for me just fine, WG built a playground so I'll play in it.

I usually enjoy the player-instigated action in the Training area.  That has been a nice development and many thanks to the ringmasters.

Hunting bots and getting rammed by them got mechanical long ago so I just play for my own amusement and always do my best for the team.

To my many fellow Canadian counterparts:

HAPPY CANADA DAY!
