Just wondering if you players out there have a particular in game bad habit.

Mine is not using the map enough.

Oh, and not watching radar enough, getting snuck up on too much.

Seriously my bad habit is going after red bots and players instead of going for the cap.

What happens is while I am targeting red planes they are shooting the white ADA

Boom, they got the cap.

Now i have to go after the red ADA and red planes.

And always breaking left like a NASCAR racer.

Mine's going after the zone that will help us win the most rather than the one that's most open. Sometimes I go after that key -- but well-defended -- enemy CC/Mine/Military Base and get shot down when there were 2 undefended garrisons I could have taken. It's a gamble that pays off, some of the time. On some maps, capturing a certain key zone can all but seal the win (ex. getting both Military Bases). When you go for it and fail, however, it can blow up in your face. And then doubling down and going back for it again and again... Oh, boy.

upgrading: F-94D, P.228, J7W2

and drinking too little

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

trigger control.  Started out in US fighters, where the MGs take forever to overheat.  Still working on proper burst control with all the planes with cannons.  I suspect that some of my teachers would include not using in-game commands as often as I should.  Bot direction is a thing.  My excuse here is that being left-handed, most of the F-key commands require me to reach across the keyboard and look away from the monitor.

I am left handed too.

I have reprogrammed all my keys to the right side of the keyboard.

for example : on the numb pad

7 drop bomb

8 boost

9 fire rocket

4 roll left

5 air brake

6 roll right

1 yaw left

2 flaps

3 yaw right

0 next closest target

Lettered keys :

P good job ( perfect )

O clear my tail ( oh crap)

L  attack / defend sector ( Location )

K attack target ( kill that MF )

Y affirmative

N negative

I usually don't use the commands as much as I should ... and not letting go of the throttle is also recurring.

My worst in-game habit was playing the game. I eventually got over it

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

My worstest habit is never getting around to purchasing a dedicated Warplanes internet connection.  I could play a lot more if I had a network connection that wasn't shared with the girlfriend's plethora of bandwidth-hogging devices.

It is so much better with your own dedicated internet.

My wife finally get xfinity for me

The kids are still using the old verizon for school and such.,

So yeah "do" something right for a change and she may reward you with a dedicated Wifi too ( your GF not mine :bajan:)

Back in the day it was tunnel vision.  Get so fixated on killing that target/player that another player has gotten on your tail and dropped you in a matter of seconds.

Flying a plane I am comfortable with, and then going right ahead and flying it outside of its parameters.

I love flying my P-38F.  Then I go and do stupid stuff like using all the boost juice, or playing in the mud, or trying to do horizontal turns.

That and trying to go all hero mode and taking a hotly contested cap all by myself.  Pffffft, moron.
