are you still jibber jabbering? I actually enjoy that you fly the junk it makes it even easier to kill you. I dont have a problem with guys flying higher tier gaa, but in the low and middle tiers they are next level useless.  but carry on, this is actually funny.

He's so in your head it's not funny.

Oh, it's funny.  It's very funny.

Speaking of knowing your role - I am growing very fond of the MRF is a "do everything" kind of plane.  At first, I kind of dismissed them as "meh, you can't do anything well enough".  Now?  DANG.

My experience with most of the MRF is, they are about boost management.  I've been flying my 190A5 lately trying to specialize it.  When I hit things properly, it trucks them in ways that make 109s cry.  if I don't hit properly....well, I don't have the tools to escape.  bring those majestic guns onto /something/ and try to kill it before you die.

I'm just going to do a drive-by on this thread which is getting out of hand:

1.  I don't agree with everything Silence said - for one, Heavy Fighters are eminently capable of dealing with low altitude airplanes and you often have to. You're more vulnerable going in low to attack, but you often have to and are very much capable of dealing with GAAs as long as you know how to go about doing it. Its simply a skill you need to learn. But Oh God Please don't let me ever see you shooting ground targets in your Spit Ia because I swear to god I will teamkill you.

2. Silence is probably the best pilot on this thread, not just statistically but based on the observations of four separate SNLs. He's in the "consider carefully which team he's on because he knows his crap" category. Some of the others on this thread have participated and are not in that category. Some have not but are in the "this guy can be ignored safely during random battles" category. Silence isn't in any of these regardless of the plane he flies.

3. The whole "obsolete" argument is based on hard stats. Its not a statement that a plane can no longer be used, but there is an objectively better choice. In the same situation, would you rather be in an Il-40P  or Su-10? A P.1102B or an EF-131? I think you will find that there are few situations where a Duck would be better than a Pe-2 or where a Do-217M would not outcap an Il-2(t)

Spirit, I'm here now so now Silence is the second best pilot on this thread. lol

Everyone else, safely ignore me in random battles.

I don't think he gets it. (he doesn't yet know his forum role, to keep the post partly on-topic...)

its funny because you seem to think the forum is more important than the game, while I prefer to actually BE better than you rather than just talk about it.  like I said corvy baby, every measurable metric, I am the superior pilot and that just makes your bum sore
