It's high time to set out on a search for the Leprechaun pot with gold, thematic emblems, award paint schemes and standard supply crates!

I cant help but feel partially responsible for this sale due to my thread  http://forum.worldof...ilable/#topmost you can also see pictures of the paint schemes there thanks to bubba Zanetti.

These paint schemes are very rare!  they were offered in may of 2015 during the war cache event https://worldofwarpl...ar-cache-event/ and to my knowledge haven't been offered since.  They give a 5% bonus to aircraft xp and look awesome.  Since the grind for pilot skills is the longest in the game every little bit helps. Unfortunately 20% crew xp paint schemes are available all the time for most of the planes making most of these paint schemes irrelevant at the moment.

bf109b - flag series and animal print and battle tested

bf109e - flag series and battle tested

bf109g - none

I-16l - no 20% but chrome

il10 - battle tested

il2 - animal print

il2mod - animal print

il8 - no 20% but chrome

p36 - flag series

p40 - flag series and animal print

so really the paint is only useful on the bf109g and only partially useful on the I-16l and il8.  The reason to buy this is not performance but a case can be made for rarity and esthetics. Price wise it does cost more than buying the gold at full price and you can often get gold for 50% off.  It is not a bargain by any means.  Overall I would only recommend this bundle for die hard collectors or those that just love the look of the paint (especially on the German fighters)

There is a bit of bait-and-switch with this package.  The picture shows a crate with a X10 but you only get 5 crates.

I bought the bundle because wowp is my favorite game. These paint schemes are some of the nicest in this game.

In terms of practicality and battle advantage normal camo is more relevant especially for the Ilyushin GAAs due to AA damage reduction as they hover a while over each sector.

Still it is nice to see the rarer items offered as I complete my collection.

I think x10 refers to the paint schemes.

Maybe.  But it is less than clear.

Yep, the blue box with "X 10" is for 10 paint jobs.

By the way, I got 6 supply crates, not 5 ?

The emblems only appear in game after the first battle.

I got the bundle too. The gold alone is worth $17, for the remaining $6 you get crates, emblems and rare skins. Good deal.

They started giving an extra crate each time because the auto opening feature was giving people fits.
