An obvious veteran-in-a-new-account, does this violate the rules?

Basically I just met a nasty headhunter in an unfortunately uptiered game (T4 MR vs T5 HF plus other players, we all know what's gonna happen)

56 games, 50 victories, 8 aircraft kills per sortie, in a specialized SE100.

So we know this is definitely not a real new player. From the account creation date and the current battle count I'm even nearly sure he has multiple accounts.

Last time I remember there's some kind of system forbidding sealclubbing, so it is probably favorable for the clubber to fly in a new account.

Now, given that, is it against the rules to evade said system by creating a new account to avoid sealclubbing penalty?

There is no sealclubbing penalty ... it's part of the game.

If you think it's bad here, try the CIS server.

I don't really like the thought of "[something bad] is part of the game"...

but whatever, perhaps I'll simply go back to playing in training mode only.

Good idea, that way you also avoid matchmaking ... another "[something bad]" that's part of the game.

Been doing so for quite a while, unfortunately I still need to fly in random battle once in a while to earn the necessary maintenance fees.

There's nothing forbidding sealclubbing. Just take a look at #5 on the EU HoF

Being in Australia the NA server resets in the middle of my evening playing time so I recently started an account on the Asia server to play evenings without worrying about reset times. Now I'm the obvious veteran starting from scratch on a new account. Starting out in T1 I also had a ridiculous WR and looked like the evil seal clubber. I'm not saying this guy isn't running multiple accounts but if all he wants to do is club some seals he doesn't really need a new account to do it.

Seems like someone is wanting to make a new start with a high WR.
I don't think it's forbidden, it's just pathetic

Answering your initial question, there's no rule against multiple accounts.

It could be someone from another server too.  I have an EU account that I play on occasion and when I was coming up through the ranks, I would imagine it was clear I was not a rookie.  In fact, I actually was on EU this weekend to finish specializing my type 224.  I ran into several specialists slumming it in t2-4 and gave them some problems.

congrats to the GOAT, brother!

Nue and Reito and SFMY and Jaguardian were all in this weekend's SNL, there was little for the rest of us to do

but, the 'rest of us' had to keep track who had / had not yet flown on Nue's teams, it was so obvious how good he is

he can fly on two servers simultaneously, that's what I've heard

Other reasons I see for alt accounts not mentioned.

Fly/game with your kids and or spouse. They take to the game initially but not as adsorbed....

Accounts are created, planes and pilots improved...

The initiator completes a hangar but finds no joy in upper tiers...or little due to no pilots.

Some simply enjoy the original experience of the lower tiers. They still have to work through and build plane and pilot and such....

Give me a Bulldog or and F3F on the Harbor map, and win lose draw or die...I will have fun!

Anyone can seal club and it's awfully hard to prevent it.  Basically what you'd have to do is once a player unlocked their Tier whatever it is plane, they could no longer fly any plane more than two tiers below that ... ever.  If you paid for a Premium in that range, sorry, no soup for you.  If you wanted to start up another line, same answer.

WG is NEVER going to do anything like that sooo ...

Of course you could always change an already finicky MM system and have it evaluate additional criteria like ... number of battles fought or win rate or some strange combination of Life the Universe and Everything to make matchmaking pairs ... in which case you're probably not going to ever see anything other than bots ...

"Don't mess with me because I can squish you like a bug, that is If I should decide to notice your existence in the first place".

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

or... we could just deal with life's little ups and downs

and, save the concerns for real issues

like, paper or plastic

That would mean you can not higher than tier VI ... otherwise no more bi-planes for you !!
