Have recently noticed how different equipment requires different battlefield salvage to be upgraded.  I shouldn't say noticed I'm just paying attention more as my pool of mechanical parts dwindle while other parts build up.  For example long gun barrels should use way less mechanical components and have more weapon parts and maybe air frame parts.  Last time I fired an MG or any firearm the barrel itself was a removable piece with no moving parts.  I find several segments of my stockpile are growing while others get very low and they are being spent on equipment that shouldn't include them or at least not as much.  I'm also just using gun barrels as an example.  the formula for most items should be looked at.

I have read post where people dislike the whole concept.  Overall I like it I just think its needs some tweaking.  I would also like the option to trade salvage for different pieces.

Just a thought,

P.S.  I really enjoy this game.  I really hope WG can see a future for it again and carry on with its evolution.  o7 all

Persha isn’t per se a game developer.  They’re the art/model department for WOT that somehow convinced someone they could develop this game (bribe or blackmail?).  And now 7+ years later they’re still no closer to being a games developer.

Keep on enjoying it though, because who knows, it may happen...one day...maybe...soonish

Those mechanical parts rain from the sky when you fly bombers.  Just sayin'.  I got more than 32K of them.

Must be nice.
If i ever have more than 100 mech parts its because i have acquired a large bunch of them in a box.  Sometimes not even then.
But then its entirely my fault for insisting on using and upgrading the sort of equipment that devours mech parts at wholesale levels.

Its only slighty less bad when i look to airframe parts. In that i can sometimes acquire over 100 of them at time without a supply drop before i devour them all.

For me to feed that need i find myself playing much more sandlot battles where the loot is thankfully limited to only mech parts and frames.

Flight instruments  are in the same boat. I dont use then nearly as much yet at the same time earn them just as sparingly. So that at least is working as intended

Meanwhile i have 1500+ weapon barrels that have been in storage for so long the cosmoline has hardened ...  and a few hundred radio parts with almost a hundred more heat resistant bits are collecting dust.
Makes no sense to me. I DO have a fair number of Jet engines and navigation equipment for the tech sergeant to care for.

Fair warning. My success rate at speculative guesswork is much like my WinRate. Hit or Miss.
Usually I start on the right track and then a make a weird left turn and get lost in the weeds ...
And yet it doesn't stop me from speculation.

I have a warehouse full of Mechanical Parts but pretty much no Flight Instruments, which is what I really need.

"Don't mess with me because I can squish you like a bug, that is If I should decide to notice your existence in the first place".

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

I can count my mech parts on 2 hands.    okay, 3

It would def be interesting to be able to trade and sell (and give!) salvage

I have a gigantic pile of radio and flight instruments, and zero mechanical parts.  I have a warehouse full of airframe elements and weapons parts.  I need to fly bombers more, I guess.
