I just upgraded to an XFX Radeon RX5700 XT RAW II. I am having issues with particles and such as only showing up as black. When zooming in on sights the entire screen is black, the bomb reticle is black also.
This seems to come and go during the game but mostly doesn't work. I have uninstalled the driver using DDU in safe mode and reinstalled it and the problem still exists.
This is the only title this happens with. performance is good in WoT, WoWS, War Thunder and The Isle.

Aside from the black artifacts issue, your graphics look great.
From my understanding on previous posts, you may need to roll your drivers back to a previous release. I believe there is an issue with the latest AMD drivers and earlier drivers seem to work better.
Anecdotal evidence here, but there have been some prior posts about this issue and the solution seems to be to roll the drivers back to previous versions.

AMD/ATi and driver issues...who'd a thunk?! Last solid ATI card/drivers I had was the Mach32 microchannel card in my PS/2 Model 70 running OS/2 Warp 3.0...
Ok, maybe not. But the AGP Rage 128 card sucked compared to the Geforce 256...
I bought the Sapphire Radeon VII last year for my hackintosh build...that worked ok since nvidia/Mac OS Mojave+ support is nyet. Been running triple 4k display Windoze 10 lately though..

I second rolling back the drivers. Mine was working fine, then AMD released new drivers and it turned everything that should've been clear/smokey black. Black raindrops. Black canopy glass, extra black smoke. Rolling back to the previous driver version resolved it.

I just added a new 4K monitor to my system and had to update my AMD drivers to 20.1.4 to resolve a persistent blue screening problem and am now stuck with the graphics problems on WOWP. I submitted a bug to AMD and replied to a forum post on their website and want to encourage everyone else with this problem to do the same to see if maybe we can get AMD's attention and a resolution

Why do you keep using AMD if you have so many problems ? I've been using Nividia for years and haven't had the problems the rest of you have had.I use two 970 cards and they run great.

Still having same issues as listed above with black screen when zooming in or using gunsight. Even latest AMD drivers released on March 19 still didn't fix it. Wargaming needs to update Warplanes please.

Again, their has been at least 5 driver updates since the driver in question back in the version 19.0 era which would break a lot of current games which have since been fixed. It's absurd to roll back 5 or 6 patches just to play this game. It needs to be address and fixed not passed over by rolling back that many driver patches. I appreciate your advise but it is not logical at all.

If you want results you gotta do what works. If older drivers are what works, then that's the thing to do. I'm on 19.11.1

Thank you for the update!!!! I will re-download it and check it out. The blackscreen and issues were the smoke on the ground was black and pixelated. Also the bomber and fighter gun sights were black yet I could still see the image of the aimsight for the bomber. So excited.

1st mistake was to buy an AMD graphics board. They tend to overheat and die out a lot. Had 3 of them all show graphical artifacts after just 6 months to a year of usage. Pulled off heat sink and the heat sink compound was like concrete. Cheaply made. Hopefully your 5700XT will last longer than mine did. So I decided never again buy an AMD graphics board again. So I changed over to Nvidia and never a problem. So my suggestion is to return that AMD and get an Nvidia. Besides they are better supported in all wargaming titles. Most gaming titles in fact. Just my 2 cents worth.

Anything to do with the heatsink, paste, pads, ventilation, (sometimes BIOS thermal management), etc is the fault of the board partner, not AMD. AMD cards do tend to run hot since they have to crank them up a bit to look like they're barely competitive. OTOH lack of competition is why Nvidia charges nosebleed prices for 5 year old tech, and buying Nvidia's latest refresh of it feeds their willingness to overcharge. Damned if you do, damned if you don't....

I have the latest update from AMD for the 5700xt for windows 10 64bit. The issue I had with the black screen while in gun sight view and the pixel smoke from fires has been fixed. I believe it was the AMD patch back in may which did it. Not sure which one but the newest one still no issues. Game runs fine now regardless of the green team fanboys giving you hell instead of help. Best flying and good luck!!!!
