There is an actual client for PC that works with Windows 7-10, then you will be able to use any wired/wireless headset & control all sound volumes through the pc.
I am currently using this headset https://www.amazon.c...,aps,192&sr=8-6 which has a mute button on the left side, I have no complaints with them.
Does Windows 10 let you direct sound from different apps to different outputs? I'd prefer to keep the game audio going to my receiver and the discord to the headset so my kids can't hear those conversations if they're in the room. Otherwise I may still end up using my phone for discord.
It's a slow day at work, so I finally have some time to do a little deeper digging. I think I'm going to go with this headset: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Earpiece-Cancelling-Wireless-Earphones/dp/B081N78GZ8/ref=sr_1_22?keywords=bluetooth%2Bheadset%2Bwith%2Bmute&qid=1576768804&s=electronics&sr=1-22&th=1
From the reviews and questions it sounds like it has a muted reminder prompt every minute or two. The button is easily accessible and can be worn on the left.
