Very reasonable tasks :)

Great to see Special Project gear in the sub-rewards, bunch of crates too :great:

I'm going to be AFK for most of the period but I think I should be able to sneak it in with last few days depending on when I actually get home.

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le SerB.

What is special about special project gear?  Does it perform better than standard gear or give better bonus characteristics?

And does that only apply if matched to the country from which it originated or can you use Japanese special project equipment on a German plane and still get the benefits?  Thanks!

Some of the special projects were added to the blog page, but not the UK and Japan equipment ...

Found some in patch notes :

What I really like about Special Project parts (besides the increased stats) is that you don't really lose anything much by not getting high score and scoring an Ultimate, Advanced. or Improved part.  You just have to spend the parts to enhance that Stock part to Ultimate and you wind up with the same exact part as the #1 guy got.

Therefore, it follows in my mind, that working for as many of the individual parts as you can makes much more sense than grinding away to get to be top dog.

Hm, not entirely true. While u can spend the parts to get it up to ultimate, the amount of parts to upgrade is twice that of the regular parts. As such, it takes freaking forever to get enough parts to fully outfit a single special project from stock to fully calibrated ultimate equipment.

People should know that ANY of the Special Project gear should be hung on to.  If you sell it or throw it out with a plane you sell, you can not buy it back.  Hoard it!

In fact, dismount a regular thing to put a special project guy in there.  That's how good these are.

Participate in capturing 120 sectors in any number of battles

Just for the record: If I kill an ADA then leave the cap area then someone else/bots finish off the flip I still get credit for participating in the cap right?

Even if the one I killed respawns before it flips.

It's Period II equipment. The Yak is a Tier V fighter, it would be quite strange to put Period III equipment together with a Tier V plane, wouldn't it? :)

Yes, you do. You need to get some capture points and that will count as participation in capturing a sector.

I would say that if you got capture points over a sector, you participated.

But you can earn offensive and defensive capture points ... do defensive points also count ?

 I can't imagine they do.

How does defending an already captured point qualify for 'participate in capturing'?
