How about extending the tech tree back to WWI, the birth of the warplane. I know there's a few biplane enthusiasts out there, who doesn't want to experience those early experiments in fighting aircraft? The Sopwith Camel, Sopwith Pup, Fokker triplane, the flying circus!! Who's with me?

Great, but fix the current bugs before introducing new gamecontent.

It would be great, but WG can't even be bothered to build out viable tech trees for the period their game does cover, much less stretch it backward or forwards into time.  There is literally TONS of content they could and should build into the game as they have it set up, but the aren't even seriously contemplating that step so there is zero chance they would go for anything like this.

Great idea, but not one that is going to happen during our lifetimes.

"Don't mess with me because I can squish you like a bug, that is If I should decide to notice your existence in the first place".

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

how about a v1.4 service pack

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

I didn't play pre 2.0. I do like this version. I would like to see higher graphics quality. but that likely won't happen.

I looked up the 1.4 update. New premium planes, maps. HD client, improved matchmaker, new modules. I wish WG would pay attention to this game again.

I've been saying for a long time now, a tri-plane w/Snoopy for a pilot!!. At least for a weekend event.

As much as I'd love to fly even earlier era planes I think they've already made a pretty good compromise for covering a wide range of aircraft generations.  We would need a LOT more players to add more Tiers.

Is it good? This thing's been on my steam watchlist for years but I can't makeup my mind to play it.

It seems to have single player and mission generator but I'm not sure about ground attacks.

Plus.... I'm not a biplane lover, I prefer WWII...

WG already answered to this suggestion "No, because even tier 1 planes are much better than World War 1 planes. And it will create balancing issues".

There is a free game on Steam: Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces. I think it's easy to play.
