Sooooo...

I said I wasn't going to no-life it :hiding:

But when I got playing the blood-lust kicked in :izmena:

Would you believe it took that long to consider that the Gobling might actually earn Silver better than a T8, I even started watching some youtube videos on it...

Apparently you aren't the only one.  I thought I was no-lifing it and managed to get 46 battles in yesterday.  That only put me at 27th for the day on # of battles, so clearly I still have too much outside life interfering!

I missed the first 30 hours of the event, but whether I place or not... I am enjoying this event. Giving me an excuse to work the rust out of my GAA skills again and remind myself how much I enjoy and am good at them.

TY WG for this section of the event.

While the goblin technically earns more credits than a tier 8 premium, it is harder to consistently get the same scores as u can with some tier 8 premiums. Thus, while i can average 15-20k pp in my Do 335, i could really only manage to average 9-12k pp in the goblin. Thus, i didn't earn any extra credits with the goblin as I did with tier 8 premiums. Perhaps if i got the goblin fully specialized, i could make it work and average more points, but I feel i would enjoy playing the JL-1A-37 more. Which is why I would like to choose the JL over the goblin

So we're over & done with.

I dunno if I actually did enough for a 3 chevron rank but its gotta be an easy 2-chevron.

I wound up playing 50 battles in La-5, 25 each in Bf 109 E & Spit XIV plus another 5 each in 3 other planes: 115 total.

Perseverance 1,372,260

Mastery 181,115

I have no idea how i did. I didn't keep track, but I had some decent 15k+ games. Maybe made the top 20 in fighters/heavies.
I'd be totally happy with the 500 gold and 15 tokens. More hanger slots ftw. I only have 2 open slots and like 5 planes researched.

Yeah I'm out of slots due to the recent discounts.

Hopefully there'll be a bit of a break between events before Xmas so I can do some relatively calm grinding & free up some slots.

Part of the problem is a bunch of my recent acquisitions turned out to be keepers...

There were some epic battles this weekend- I had a great time!  The best matches are the close ones.

I may have done more than necessary- I got worried securing a top 5 GAA perseverance slot was going to be difficult after seeing so many players with so much damage to ground targets on Friday and Saturday.  It looks like most of them took it easier on Sunday or were satisfied with their scores for mastery.  Meanwhile I persevered.  I ended up with 150 battles in my IL-8 and IL-20.  Perseverance was 1,427,335 and mastery was 154,705.  I'm curious to see if that mastery score is competitive.  I was up against some IL-40's and B-32s putting up big numbers in a few games.

I am thrilled with these scores.  Attack planes apparently agree with me- they have my highest type efficiency by a significant amount and my win rate was good (for me) for the weekend.  I am disappointed I only came away with 2 Efimov medals for the weekend, though.  I needed 3 for the Vampire mission.  I was soooo close to a 3rd.  I had 385 capture points, one bomb and 20 hit points left and I was lined up on an AA gun 1 second from the target when an ADA came out of nowhere, got a lucky shot in and took me out.

ended up with two draws over the last two events.
(also ended up with more matches with 2 specialists in a flight and a 3rd random on the other team against none on mine more times than I can count on one hand... but that's for a different thread)

i'm just thankful the servers didn't have issues this past weekend. If i had to deal with the issues from last weekend again, i would have been infuriated. Still salty about the server issues the previous weekend event. Would have forced myself into the top 5. literally had 6th when they messed up and 6th after they fixed the scores. literally, the ultimate salt-in-the-wound experience. Robbed me of the best prize outside of the JL-1A-37 and goblin. Whatever, I know i nailed this weekend. Refused to be denied a second time even if it doesn't mean much in terms of the rewards as I already had reached the bracket I'd wanted to. But that is kind of beside the point. I showed up this weekend to prove a point. And I think I have heartily made that loud and clear. now, just to wait in anticipation for the results

Greetings pilots,

Sincere thanks for participating in the final battle of the Fall Campaign! We are happy to announce the winners of Class Wars. Your deserved rewards for the last stage will soon arrive at your accounts, and the total number of collected chevrons is already published in the article.

Today I'll create a thread where you can choose your final prize for participating in the campaign if it costs fewer chevrons than you've earned.

Awwrite! Did make it into top 5 :)

Good lord how do you average over 25k over 10 battles in a weekend :amazed:

I had thought my 18.1k would have done a bit better than 10th but man those are some massive scores.

Congrats!  I'm with you- those mastery scores are inconceivable to me.  Even on the GAA mastery, I thought my 15.4K average per top 10 would've placed better than 14th (and that's not even counting those from perseverance that may have beaten that as well).  Thankfully we have the perseverance category!

That's because your score on perseverance placed you higher on that board than your 20K placed on the mastery board.  Only your best position shows up.

As we promised, here's a thread where the winners of the Campaign can choose their reward.

If you are happy with the prize which you should receive according to the number of your chevrons, you DON'T need to post in this thread.

This thread will be open till Monday (December, 2) at 01:00 PST / 04:00 EST.

We'd like to remind you, that we don't compensate the difference in chevrons, we just give you a chance to receive the more desired reward for you.

Should have played more I guess. 10th isn't bad I suppose.

I'm glad to have made the list though I didn't put in so many hours. As a bomber with a rotating majority of maps being solely garrisons, it's difficult to pull above 11k most of my point we're achieved in the first day in 20 matches only.  Where I had more maps with mining plants and command centers.

Fun time though
