I tried to get as many x5s a day as time allowed. I never played wowp so much before.

I was able to unlock planes in every national tree:

Soviet:

La-9

German:

Bf 109 Z

Me 265

Ju 288 C

USA:

F7U

F6U

XP-72

Japan:

Ki-162-1

J7W2

British:

Spitfire V

All of that in one week. Now coming up with enough silver to buy all of them will take a while. The boosters from the march of nations event will definitely help.

Did you guys take advantage of the daily x5s? What did you unlock?

Mostly I as going through my premium planes farming exp bonuses for pilots.  I did unlock a few planes; J7W, Ta-152, and FW-190D. 25k a pop on my pilots though was sweet when the bonus was active.

Me-262

and now I've almost unlocked the P-51A

about 20,000 XP before I can unlock my own Ju-288C

I try to use these events (or at least weekend x3's) to upgrade planes rather than unlock new ones. With this event I fully upgraded the Me262, XF5U, F2G, XP-72, and Ki-93 that I got from March of Nations and had mothballed in my hangar.

I usually do my upgrades with free exp.  I'm generally not a fan of flying stockers when I can avoid it.

Yeppers,

I could only take a little bit of advantage of it but I did managed to unlock my P-38.  It doesn't have two wings, but it does have two engines so I've decided to think of it as an honorary BIPLANE!!

YAY BIPLANES!!!! :great:

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

I worked on skill points for my bomber crews.  I was able to add a point to 6 different crew members.  That don't sound like much until you know that 4 already had 11 skill points and 2 had 12.

And I am officially a member of the Mile High Club now.  After all, my 6 engine EF-131 is a Sexplane.   :hiding:

Mostly ground skill points for my A-5 pilot. Got something like 500k XP... Just 1.3m left to my next skill point X.x

Did finally unlock the FJ-1

flew one single solitary battle in seven days.      don't know why I'm going weeks between sessions, exactly

but I did get on this morning and flew 5-6, and did pretty darn well.     naturally, it was back to x2 today

I'll try again tomorrow!

Researched and bought the La-160 and  the F-84B, and came close to researching 3-4 other tier IX's too...

Was a good deal. Only managed to get 2 crates, tho'... Could get the win, or the 10k points, just not both! :(

Yeah, I could see that. Especially if you were playing planes not very good, that you are not very good in, or that you don't enjoy(believe me, your enjoyment of a plane can have a significant impact on how well you do in it, because in a plane you hate, you don't think straight and make decisions well, because you are too distracted with how much you hate it), it would be quite difficult. I personally got all of them at lower tiers(I believe all of them, or nearly all of them, I earned in Tier Vs, in insane/insanely meta planes), and I'm glad I didn't try at higher tiers, because the pro ratio spikes with every tier. At Tier VII, for instance, you are near enough to the danger zone(Tier VIII) where unicum flights hang out to pad their stats in top tier matches that pull in Tier VIIs, and GOOD LUCK dealing with THEM in bottom tier, inferior aircraft. Heck, they would be enough of an issue to deal with being in a solid same-tier plane, but being bottom tier against them is just about impossible to win against, oh, and good luck getting a score of even 10,000 points, much less a win, as they effortlessly both carry their team of super-good bots(why does it always seem like they get the better bots too?) and rack up insane scores far beyond what would have been required for the crates.

I feel for you man. But you still did get to do successful grinding far beyond what I was able to do in the same time period, so hats off to you.
