Meet the Yak-14, the largest Glider ever produced by the Soviet Union, and also the first glider to fly over the north pole.

  • Empty weight: 3,082 kg (6,795 lb)

    Compared to one of the largest gliders ever produced, the German Me 321:
     
  • Length: 28.15 m (92 ft 4 in)
  • Wingspan: 55 m (180 ft 5 in)
  • Wing area: 300 m2 (3,200 sq ft)
  • Empty weight: 12,200 kg (26,896 lb)
  • Gross weight: 34,400 kg (75,839 lb)

Did it have SOME kind of a heater as it flew over the NORTH POLE?  Good lord those Russians were tough.

IL-20 made into glider...:unsure:

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
