Hi was wondering how do you change game mode  from conquest back to death match
cause conquest gets annoying after like 3-5 battles

2nd question sorry just curious  are clans still / even a thing in the game?

1) Unfortunately, you can't do this, there is supposedly a PvP mode in the development plans for this year, but with only a couple months left I'm not so sure it will arrive this year. You can play the other gamemodes on offer (Invasion, Attrition, and Escort) in the training room.

Do keep in mind that you have to pay for all consumables/repairs that you incur in the training room despite earning no rewards for it... because World of Warplanes I guess.

 

2) Clans are indeed a thing however they're basically just social, there is no reason to be in a clan beyond having the in-game clan chat and to have a tag attached to your name. Going by a post from a WG employee on the RU forum the stance on clan activities is effectively "the players can do it themselves."

Sorry guy, you are stuck with Conquest or Training Room as the game is presently.  They speak about changing that but it's been a long, long time since they said anything.

 

Clans are still here.  They just don't mean all that much other than as a Lady's Sewing and Gossiping Circle.  But it's a place to ask questions, get tips, find flight partners, etc.  Again, there was talk that they were going to initiate Clan Wars but that was long, long ago.  Nothin's changed.

There are a few hyper-active and succesful-ish clans. Then there are all the zombie clans.

There is no deathmatch mode currently, as mentioned above. Per WG's announced development pathway for the -fiscal year- we should probably expect that sometime just after the first of the year or when they drop the high tier U.S. Bombers and Japanese HFs in the next 2-3 months.
This is the currently laid out path for World of Warplanes in FY 2019 below.

I'm not sure why they don't just copy the clan port from ships.  Even if they aren't HUGE, getting some extra bonuses from leveling up your clan would be nice.

Thnkz I remember the days when their was death match way back before this conquest stuff

if they want to make the game releveant again  they really should put pvp back in and have clan wars stuff etc
