At 96 years old, Bob Brocklehurst needs a little more help boarding a plane than he did back in the day. But give him a second and he's right at home inside a P-51, in 2017 cool man , awesome guy

Nice,
I wonder if he also plays World of War Planes and reads the forums.
Are you here Bob?

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],
you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

Watched a BBC doc yesterday about the Spitfire.
Some of the pilots they talked too were deep in their nineties, but there was a 100-yr old lady who was in the Air Transport Auxiliary and flew more than 1000 planes from factories to airfields and 490 of them were Spits.
Can't find the doc itself, but found this :
one year before she was reunited with a Spit she delivered and put her signature on !!
