2 more chevrons means I've secured the Kostikov

Now I need 3 more chevrons total from the final 2 events to secure the T8 & I'm feeling confident thats achievable.

 

Though at least one should be a Japanese plane specific event & we haven't had a GA specific one yet, my options are fairly limited in either of those.

I need 5 more chevrons to get the Goblin.  I think I would rather have the tier 8 though, but because it is a Chinese plane, it has no extra benefit for me.  So I am still trying for the Goblin for no other reason than I can use it as an American pilot trainer.  If I fall short of getting the Goblin, I won't take it too bad.

my two cheverons is I believe enough to get me the P-36C. Of the planes on the list, that's the one I'd want most, so it all works out.

You still have the chance to bump that up to 4 & get the Hurricane IID, its a real ball of lols.

Anyone knows what the special paint scheme on the P-36C looks like ??

I got that plane in a bundle with 7 prem days last year, but no special camo. Got 3 chevrons now (EU server) and hope to get more for the Hurri IID, but camo for the P-36 is also nice.

Allright! Made it to the T8 yay

I genuinely thought I'd be pushing it targeting getting the Hurricane IID when this started.

 

Now I've won a T5, T6 (compensated), T7 & secured a T8 Premium plus all the Crate goodies, Premium time & other bits.

 

I can still even get the Gobling if I top-5 the final event which is totally unexpected

Not planning on no-lifing it though, gonna probably go for another 10-20 rank score but kinda depends on the requirements & prizes, if its something really neat I might make another big push.

Thank you for your feedback in the dedicated thread. You've already expressed some decent thoughts and suggestions that we'll try to take into account in other similar events, and, I hope, there'll be even more great ideas. Still, I'd like to explain the point which seems to be the most frequently mentioned. Online tracking of results.

 

You compare the Fall Campaign with Special Trials but there's one important difference between them. There has never been a "Mastery" rating in Special Trials, and all in all, everything ended up with the number of battles fought. We've received enough feedback regarding this particular point and the Community team tried to take it into account. Unfortunately, it cannot be implemented in-game at this particular moment, so, we are unloading the data after the end of the events and then algorithms can work with the data. This flow makes Mastery ratings possible at the moment.

All in all the event has been fun for me. With 80+ planes to fly in my hanger at the moment; i do have far more planes to fly than time to fly them.
Its nice to have (beyond token grinding daily missions) reasons to not only fly fun airplanes but to pull out all the stops in a competition against other players.

load the gold consumables, use that cruise speed paint job instead of the paint job that boosts exp gains, figuring out an ideal equipment configuration that is ideal for the mission parameters, and burning some of those extra tokens earned in the well timed previous event to hot swap those configurations.

The rewards were pretty nice too. Admittedly i already have some of the special premiums that you can get for placing in the competition. But that is ok.
The big pile of gold, premium time and loot boxes supply crates chock full of all sorts of useful stuff is nothing to sneeze at.

like extra equipment, large chunks of materials. fat piles of free xp, more gold consumables Free low-mid tier premium planes w/hanger slot (or equivalent gold value) and more gold. and more premium.
So much stuff that taking advantage of the "buy a pile of supply crates" special offers in the premium shop are actually worth the money you spend on them.
Well at least the first one you buy. (In each teir) that also gets a huge discount one time per account. 

And while the consumables and a very few of the planes you can get are as close to pay to win as this game gets ; literally everything else is a means to reduce in game grind.
So they really avoid the whole terrible Pay2Win aspects that are associated with the idea of "Loot Boxes"

(Say what you will about the redheaded step child of WeeGee; at least the premiums in Planes are mostly balanced. Unlike Ships. Or Tanks)

The only down side for me was my job insisting that i work on weekends for significant chunks of the contest time. And that isnt WeeGee's fault.

^^ Is this why there is a delay in receiving the prizes? Like you all waiting for people to respond with their wishes? Does it mean everyone gets their prizes on December 2nd? Even those that are happy with what they got? 

People started posting even though they dont want to change the plane to expedite the process.

Little sad in having to wait entire Thanksgiving weekend before getting to play with the new toy. That's like 5 days, just because of the few people that would or would not want to change their prize. Sure vast majority just want their win, no change.

So there are 76 people with 4 or more chevrons, 76 potential people that can substitute their plane. Out of 76, how many willing? There are total 223 winners that are eagerly waiting to test out what they fairly won. How many people out of 76 are going to make the rest of 223 wait? 10? 15? 

Surely it is possible to separate those that want to change and those that dont.
Can we create another thread, where people can opt to receive their prize without changing and without waiting.
Now that will be something.

Yea. I'm pissed about this TBH. I just wanted my prize. I didn't want to wait another 4 days. THat's.... ridiculous.

We waited 4 days after every event in this series for results to post and prizes to be awarded. So now with the overall campaign complete, we wait 4 days to get rewards. Sounds fair to me.

I know everyone wants instant gratification and their new shiny toys, but for an first of its kind event that they didn't have to do, I think a little patience is in order. Hopefully future event rewards will run smoother and asking for that is fine, but getting mad about it on the first try of a new type of event is like beating your kid cause they couldn't ride a bike the first time they tried, or letting them drown the first time you throw them in the deep end of the pool.
