still looking for a sound files expert to give me a ballpark estimate on 'rewiring' my sounds

I'd love to see a drop-in solution like KJ's i'm-a-bot mod, or Air-Defense's beautiful RAW clan mods, if someone thinks it's possible

WG, would you consider devoting a couple of code monkey hours to this...  there are thousands of PTSD folks out there

There's probably some level of good gaming press that could be generated, unless most games already provide a similar option?

"Wargaming makes a sound decision... providing a new, trigger-free soundscape for it's trilogy of war titles"

Last I remember, they wouldn't even put in a color blind mode.  Maybe they have now and I don't know about it.

I usually fly to music with the game sounds in the background.  Sometimes I turn the sounds up, other times down.  All depends on my mood and whether or not ACE is flying in a community battle on discord (in which case, music 90%, ACE 10%).

For whatever reason, my current favorite when the underdog:

Turning sounds off, not hearing the digital sounds of our little wars, would so much take away enjoyment.  Playing without the booms and such makes it a flying pacman game, and even more silly arcadey than it is.  Might as well play silent Tetris or solitaire. Guess I want the sounds of war as I fight a BATTLE.  If you are not flying with sounds, then you are not flying.  You are navigating a three dimensional  Donkey Kong or some such.

Just my humble opinion, more power to being purposefully deaf in a battle game if that's your thing.  You must not want to play a battle game.

You have fun as I do. this is nice.

Although i have a tendency to play the Tie fighter attack theme from New Hope on a loop in the back ground when i am doing the pew pew Pow stuff.
(or just running mashed up clips of just the space battles from starwars for xtra com chatter and explosions. that works too Every so often what im doing in game matches up with what is in the video and ill get a "THis is gold leader. we are begining our attack run now" when im coming around to blow up stuff in a cap. Or i explode after Porkins tells me that he can hold it together).

It helps to have the tracer (the actual canon shells not the smoketrail) colors switched to green and red and then have the intensity turned way up. they wind up looking like lasers (and are super helpful for walking the shots onto the target.)

Fair warning. My success rate at speculative guesswork is very hit or miss. Usually I start on the right track and then a make a weird left turn and get lost in the weeds ...
And yet it doesn't stop me from speculation.

Well, the game is pretty much cartoony to begin with, and if I had my way, it would have the same kind of sound effects as a Warner Brothers cartoon, and with a classical music background.  After all, who better to teach children about Wagner's Ring than a cross-dressing rabbit, AMIRITE?

YESSSSSSSSSSS!

Logic is a feeble reed, friend. "Logic" proved that airplanes can't fly and that H-bombs won't work and that stones don't fall out of the sky. Logic is a way of saying that anything which didn't happen yesterday won't happen tomorrow.
