Alas, the tech tree isn't nearly as full and diverse as WOWS.

 

Since it seems like WG may be putting more resources back into planes, maybe we'll see the tech tree start to expand again.....

Maybe we could do a battle of Britain theme some night (if it hasn't already been done).

 

Or a later in the war escort mission - B-17s escorted by Mustangs? (Note:  I have not flown the Mustang in planes ye and rarely seen them, but have heard not so good things about most of them so this may be a bad idea).

without joining voice comms, you won't know the particular guidelines for the next battle, so this means everyone, please      

 

you decide if you talk, but everyone has to be able to hear       it's too time consuming to type out the rules in hangar chat      

 

edit: i have a sister-in-law's birthday dinner party tonight, but it's at my house so i can semi-control when folks leave    " Get OUT! "

so glad that you were able to get into Discord       i'm pretty helpless when it comes to Discord     

 

however, i found out how to get the overlay working again, after almost a year      i finally broke down and read the overlay help page

 

big thanks to everyone who showed up, it was a big crowd of folks who love to see wowp twisted up into something WG never intended     we're all deplorables

 

we flew British vs Japanese     the British slapped us around      so we switched to British vs USA and had several battles where the score was almost tied

 

then we flew tier 8 battles and worked with Corsair in his new f-82e, then a couple of Ram your Neighbors with all of us in T3 bombers

 

then a bunch of Ram the Rabbits until almost 1am EST, which was the longest SNL ever      the time just flew by     get it?

 

we get Discord access questions almost every week      has anyone ever seen a post detailing the steps to get in?     

 

and explaining the plus/deltas between the PC client and the webpage client?     

 

and how to find the wowp channel if you want to use the client      the little one-day invites are useless in the client, right?

Thanks for hosting - it was a blast.  To Rei and SFMY, sorry about the potato play.  I should have not busted out that plane, or not goofed around with plinking at humans, LOL.

Also Rei - I went into the training room and did a little flying with some bot Tu-12s, because I didn't believe you about the hitbox thing.  I spent a s#!+ton of silver proving you right.  Wow.

Salute to Corsair - he flew in T8 pretty well.  I'd have you on my team any time in a real battle - you would at least think about what you were doing, which is more than half or what this game is about.

Thanks Corvus - I have lots still to learn, but I'm trying. 

 

T8 was wild...I've run into jets before (more accurately, they've run into me) during ram the rabbit, but this was the first time I think I've seen them in a straight conquest mode battle (even if it was the training room).   The F-82E is going to be fun to fly when I get there, but I'm going to have a challenge adjusting to jets.   Chasing them in a propeller driven aircraft isn't going to work

Hey hey!  Given the amount of times I've rammed other planes and been rammed by them, it's amazing how hard it is to actually do so on purpose.

 

Then again, maybe given that us rabbits know you're trying to ram us (and can't shoot at us) it's a little easier to make the rammers miss....

 

It is a fun way to learn some of the abilities and limitations of the plane you're flying though.
