Feeling like you want to just blasterate stuffs out of the air?  Getting dizzy from turning turning turning all the time (wait a sec, I just made myself dizzy there)  ... ...

Well I have a solution for you, the HEAVY FIGHTER!!!  Masters of anything that falls under their guns, these powerful aircraft pack a lot of punch in a highly durable airframe and can often operate at altitudes that leave lesser fighters gasping for air. Anit-Bomber abiltiy, yep these planes have it.  Smashing up ground targets, yes again!!  Sewing death and destruction against lighter aircraft then zooming away to a new target??  ABSOLUTELY YES!!!  If there ever was an aircraft that could squishedbuggie a red plane, this is that plane.

So which is my favorite?

Well when looking over the stats of these planes, really the Fw 57 has most of the best key indicators, but for me, my BEST OF THE BESTEST is ... ...

*drum roll please*

Dornier Do 17 Z-7 Kauz!!!

Ok, statistically, this plane does not show any signs of domination.  She's not the most powerfully armed, she turns like a rock, nor is she the toughest Heavy in the tier.  She is a bit faster than her contemporaries and she has a slightly better high altitude performance when compared to other heavies in these tiers but that's about it.

But sometimes a plane is greater than the sum of it's parts, and when it comes to me flying a Heavy, this plane just works and, after I got her figured out, she works a LOT better than the contemporaries around her.

So that's my pick, what's yours??

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

I picked the Fw-57 purely as a victim.  The Ao-192 is usually easy to avoid and I don't know about that Wilk thing.   Your Do17 Z-7 is in the running but I still think the Fw is meaner.  I could be wrong but I think it has higher altitude capability and you can't complain about those guns.

FW 57 is the funnest and most favoritist plane

:)

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

They have pretty much identical high altitude performance however the Do-17 has a faster rate of climb.  Like I said, the advantages she has are small

The Wilk is the best all - round low tier Heavy in my book. Its agile, has great firepower, a simply ridiculous bombload and decent speed and altitude.

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

i don't know what the best of the tier 3's is. the fw57 is a very strong aircraft. the firepower and ordnance is pretty silly, plus 20mm rear gun that has a greater range than most planes at its tier. it weakness is bad climb and turn.

The p.38 i a strong plane as well. it only has one 20mm, but that gun is the best 20 at tier 3. It also turns well and seems to climb a bit better than the fw 57. weakness is top speed, boost time. it almost like the ki 102 of tier 3.

i mean the ao 192 is the only tier 2 so its the best.

i specialized the Do but never played it again. from the experience i have with it. I fine it to be just and all round weaker fw 57. i think it has some soft stat that is better but i do not know. the only advantage is it ability to use your best crew.

as for which is better the FW 57 or p.38 depends on situation. but i will tell u i enjot flying the p.38 more

Of the 4 listed, heavy fighter they all have different plus and minus to ea. of them. :great:

They all can put a hurting on the enemy if flown on their strengths.

But the one that stands out because of it's tail gunner :kamikaze: would have to be the FW-57. The tail gunner can chew up any light fighter who's dumb enough to chase you.

If the aerial target is overshot, the tail gunner is sure to finish off the trailing fighter with that cannon he's holding.

So I would give the  FW 57  the edge based on the Beast in the tail.:playing:
