Given that the ability exists to send aircraft from Europe to any of the 5 major countries (as of Update 2.1), perhaps a nice feature also might be to be able to send certain aircraft to China, such as those known to have been used there.  This would be primarily USA and USSR aircraft (American and Soviet Volunteer Groups), though also some 'European' aircraft which are thus far not in game (British, French, Italian), as well as captured Japanese aircraft.

A full list of implicated aircraft will be included in the next post.  For now please see the retired China tech tree project.

//edit:  aircraft added below in next post

Key:

-- links highlighted orange = premium aircraft in-game

-- links not highlighted = progression aircraft in-game

-- no links = aircraft not currently in-game

I'd rather be able to send my China planes elsewhere, even if only thier home nations.

I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of jumping nations, but I think it's a solid idea of building an actual tree for China.  WG has already done this with the Pan-American Destroyer branch in World of Warships which is a combination of paper designs made for the Nationalist Chinese, European and US ships given to the Nationalists after the war, Soviet ships given to the Communist regime or captured Japanese ships and throw in a bit of Korean and you have what ends up being a pretty interesting line.

"Don't mess with me because I can squish you like a bug, that is If I should decide to notice your existence in the first place".

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

They are doing a pan-EU line in ships too.

The cat's already out of the bag with the Europe line; now they they are here nation changeable planes are clearly an option.  I'd like to see them add the orphans from China to be changeable too.

The best thing would be to allow Chinese planes to be used by other countries similar to the situation in the new European line.  Letting other planes be used by the Chinese may be historically accurate but way too complicated. At the moment the Chinese line is an orphan line and allowing their planes to be used by other countries would make them much more usable and playable.

Hmmmm....  One has to wonder what kind of tariffs would be imposed on such a move.  Also, you would have to overcome National Security Restrictions unless, of course, you were moving from the Russian line.

So many international intricacies that might apply.

Might as well try to set up 5G Huawei cell towers in Arlington, VA.

The list above is meant to be comprehensive, including all aircraft known to have been used in China.  However, if treatment of the 'Europe' tree is any indicator, then it might be that only premium aircraft would be able to be sent.  Here are the numbers:

Total aircraft = 60

-- [25 US, 15 USSR, 1 G, 4 UK, 12 J, 3 E]

Progression aircraft = 25

-- [8 US, 9 USSR, 0 G, 1 UK, 7 J, 0 E]

Premium aircraft = 3

-- [1 US, 1 USSR, 1 G, 0 UK, 0 J, 0 E]

---> these aircraft already in game could be sent to China

Not yet in game = 28

-- [13 US, 5 USSR, 0 G, 3 UK, 5 J, 2 E]

---> these aircraft are not yet in game, could appear as premiums, and could be sent to China

So, if this were to 'go live tomorrow', only 3 premiums could take the boat to China (A-26B, La-11, Hs 123).

If this were to go live at a later time, as many as 28 additional premiums could take the boat to China.  Subtract a few from that if concerned about cannibalizing progression for US attack aircraft or Japanese interceptors.

In any case, the Fiat CR.32 and Dewoitine D.510 from Europe would be very good/obvious choices.
