Over the last three weeks, there have been reports of a single player team-killing and generally griefing other players.  That player has been reported by multiple people, multiple times (I have done it twice myself.)

Since this behavior is specifically prohibited by the EULA (12.1.3, harassing), I am left with the conclusion that the reporting tool is broken, and that Wargaming is not actually getting the reports.

Is there an alternate way we can send the reports so that the support team can take action?  Thank you.

He team killed me as well.  I reported him in game and sent a ticket with video and yet he's still doing it.

Thanks WG.

The report system is not broken but is not fully automatic, e.g. reports require being checked once a particular period. Thus, for a quicker reaction I would encourage you to both report in-game and submit tickets.

There have been taken measures against that particular player. You won't see him in battles for a certain period of time. Thank you for your reports directly to the Customer Support. I really appreciate them. Together we can make our community better and our time in the game even more pleasant.

If you encounter the same or similar issues again, please use in-game reporting system and submit a ticket to a Customer Support to speed up the process. Screenshots and replays will be very welcomed.

Regarding this situation:

Please note that any measures against players can be taken only by the Customer Support so it is worth contacting the team directly. I haven't issued any warnings for the last couple of threads for now but I would remind you about the Forum Rules. Promotion of TK, naming and shaming and using alt-accounts to bypass restrictions are still against the rules. I strongly believe that our community is capable of being civil and polite to preserve a healthy atmosphere here without any additional measures.

Thank you for doing something.  If you read the other threads and posts concerning this individual (before you removed them) you probably noticed the level of displeasure concerning his ability to continue his illegal activities despite all the reporting and ticket submissions.

So now we are supposed to both report in game AND submit tickets simultaneously?  Reports and ticket submissions WERE sent in droves by the player community and it still took this long to respond?  Did not this thread (and the ones you removed) have something to do with finally getting some action?

No, it did not. I'm afraid there need to be a certain number of reports for taking any action against a player. Tickets, I believe, weigh a little bit more than simple report in-game as there are different reasons why a player can be reported (for playing too good, for kill-stealing etc.), so a couple of tickets will tell much more.

Well, from what I've seen in these threads and posts (including the ones you removed)  several tickets more than a couple were sent.

But better late than never.  Thank you.

THANK YOU.

I mean that.

I also appreciate the information on how to make sure that folks how act that way can be more quickly removed.  If I had known, I would have used the ticket system, then explained to my fellow pilots how to do it as well.

In defense of my fellow forum inhabitants, I completely understand why they did what they did.  It is very frustrating to have two weeks of play interrupted by a griefer, and seemingly no way to make him stop.  I also appreciate that you went easy on them - I think you understand their frustration as well.

blindfold did also specify "You won't see him in battles for a certain period of time."  I would submit that the time period is probably 30 days, which seems to be the max  for most infringements.  He may choose to not come back.  But he may also choose to return and which way he will bounce is unknown.

My guard goes back up  at the end of August.  I have him in my list of contacts so all I have to do is press the bottom leftmost button and his name will light up if he's in-game again.  I'll be checking in the interim.  If I see him, his presence will be remarked upon here in this thread by me at least.  His name will not be used in accordance with the EULA and blindfold's note of caution in her last reply.

Agreed on all.

We may see a return under a different moniker as you say, so we watch for the behaviour, not just the name, jah?

That'll be simple enough since his behaviour sticks out like a flashbulb at a midnight cemetery.

That would seem to be their not so subtle way of giving a nod that it's possible to cheat at the game... at least.. if I weren't wearing my hamhockjones approved™ tinfoil trilby.

I believe Blindfold was saying that people report other players for many reasons, many of which are false reports. Such as reporting someone for falsely reporting someone for unfair play because they keep shooting you down, or because they don't like that they keep running into a particular pilot that keeps beating them.
