Over the last three weeks, there have been reports of a single player team-killing and generally griefing other players. That player has been reported by multiple people, multiple times (I have done it twice myself.)
Since this behavior is specifically prohibited by the EULA (12.1.3, harassing), I am left with the conclusion that the reporting tool is broken, and that Wargaming is not actually getting the reports.
Is there an alternate way we can send the reports so that the support team can take action? Thank you.
The report system is not broken but is not fully automatic, e.g. reports require being checked once a particular period. Thus, for a quicker reaction I would encourage you to both report in-game and submit tickets.
There have been taken measures against that particular player. You won't see him in battles for a certain period of time. Thank you for your reports directly to the Customer Support. I really appreciate them. Together we can make our community better and our time in the game even more pleasant.
If you encounter the same or similar issues again, please use in-game reporting system and submit a ticket to a Customer Support to speed up the process. Screenshots and replays will be very welcomed.
Regarding this situation:
Please note that any measures against players can be taken only by the Customer Support so it is worth contacting the team directly. I haven't issued any warnings for the last couple of threads for now but I would remind you about the Forum Rules. Promotion of TK, naming and shaming and using alt-accounts to bypass restrictions are still against the rules. I strongly believe that our community is capable of being civil and polite to preserve a healthy atmosphere here without any additional measures.
