Hi Everyone!!!

Biplane (noob) Girl here with another amazing edition of BEST OF THE BESTEST!!!

Today we have Tier II Multiroles fighters to look at, the direct descendants of our Tier I superplanes, these fighters helped rule the sky and terrorized the groundpounders during the early to mid 1930's.  But the question is, which of these amazing aircraft deserve the title of BEST OF THE BESTEST!!!!

My pick is the Polikarpov I-15

The I-15 is a further evolution of the earlier Tier I I-5 but is both studier and faster.  Most Tier II multiroles are still limited to two machine guns but the I-15 inherits four of these beauties from her earlier sisters which gives her quite a bit more firepower than most of the contemporaries she is tiered with.

Just a very powerful and competitive plane for the tier.

"Don't mess with me because I can squish you like a bug, that is If I should decide to notice your existence in the first place".

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

I have an affection for all planes russian.  The I-15 is my go-to tier 2 craft.

It probably isn't the best plane for pwning the game, but I went for La Bomba because I fly it more than the others.  If you're really gonna "multi-role" you might as well bring the Big Stick to get maximum LOLz.

I voted Hawk III because its literally the only tier 2 Multirole I've flown beyond my initial grind. It's honestly pretty mediocre but I was the last man standing during the Community Night's inaugural baby planes ramfest so that ought to count for something

I liked my I-15, but I feel the I-5 ShKAS was better.

I thought I remembered that the Hawk II was decent, but the Hawk III was a total dog?  (Or maybe it's the other way around?)  I like one of them, and suffer through the other one.

I preferred the Hawk III. At least it brings some bombs to the table. The Hawk II's guns are just anemic

Fi-98.  It plays as a multi-role plane, despite what it's categorized as.   And, it's great.  Normal tier 2 puny MGs are perfectly capable of dealing with aircraft, but its tier 4 bomb load with a reload time 1.5x faster than tier 3-4 planes with same damage potential load.

Also, it's deceptively agile.  It will snap in a pitch up maneuver with flaps a bit of boost.  I've gotten around on specialized fighters that are much more maneuverable on the stats page.

I think its just a reflection of the fact that certain planes are just so overwhelmingly powerful that they render the rest just mediocre by comparison. The Ar67 is one such plane and its basically my tier 2 tryhard/sealclubbing plane. Everything else is mediocre by comparison

I feel the same about my Ar-68.  In top configuration, it is absolutely deadly as a seal-clubber.  WG *did* nerf the guns a little, but only in you have to get 100m closer to get the old performance out of them.

Bought it last night since you and so many people said it was great. So far I think it's one of the best premiums I have bought in this game. Sure it's derpy, but man was it fun to get 8 kills average per game. I probably would have gotten 11 kills average had i been using mouse flying, which I am switching too tonight.

I couldn't evaluate the ShKAS because it's one of two planes on the list that I don't own and fly.  I do remember back before 2.0 that seeing one of those little monsters in the same airspace as my innocent defenseless noob at the controls biplane would make me want to run for cover.  Now, not so much but it's still a irritating little *** when one shows up.

The F11C-2 is just giggle fun. Thus I voted for it.

The I-5 ShKAS was a Gabreski farmer before 2.0 arrived - the four ShKAS cream light targets and utterly decimate any tier 2 while dealing serious damage to tier 3...it's tier 4 level of firepower snuck into tier 2.

In the day and age of bots it's more powerful than before because low tier bots do not fly as smart and get turned into swiss cheese under four ShKAS...but it's a little heavy and it tolls on maneuverability, which lighter fighters can take advantage of to win against it.

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.
